How to make vertical markings for floor tiles. How to lay tiles on the floor and walls: step-by-step instructions. Choosing tiles for flooring

Laying tiles is a rather complex process that consists of certain stages of work. Among them there is also marking. The final result of the work depends on it, because if the markings are done incorrectly or inaccurately, surprises may await you during the installation process. This article describes in detail, step by step, how to mark when laying tiles.

1. Preparing the plane

At the very beginning, it is worth preparing the plane that needs to be marked. For example, when the tiles are laid on the walls, they should immediately be thoroughly cleaned of construction waste and dust residues. To do this, you can use a brush, vacuum cleaner or broom. The main thing is that the walls are clean.

2. Marking corners

After this, you need to mark a horizontal line around the perimeter of the room. From the very beginning, marks must be placed in the corners. For this, a simple water level is used. If financial resources allow, you can purchase a laser level. With it, you can easily apply both marks and lines. If there is no such device, then two people will be needed. They stand in the corners. Place the ends of the water level at a certain height and look at the water level, marking it.

The next step is for one person to move to the next corner while the other remains in place and focuses on the marked mark. The next mark must be applied to it. This operation is carried out until points are placed in all corners.

3. Drawing horizontal lines

Next is drawing lines between the marks. The easiest way to draw lines is to use a marker. Its cord is covered with special paint. The cord is pulled according to the marks, after which they need to slap the base of the wall, pulling it a little and sharply releasing it. This is how all the lines are drawn. Next, it all depends on the size of the tile.

It is worth measuring a certain amount from the main line so that the mark at the bottom is slightly less than the height of the tile. It is better to trim the bottom row a little. So marks are applied along the entire perimeter and lines are also marked.

4. Drawing vertical lines

The next step is to draw a vertical line on the walls, which will divide it into two even parts. This will be needed in order to correctly calculate the trimming of tile materials. If on some side it turns out to be too small, then the rows are shifted by half a tile to the right or left, it doesn’t matter. In this case, the trim will look more attractive.

When drawing the center line, you should use a plumb line or an exact level. Again, returning to what was said, today there is laser levels and theodolites. Depending on the diversity of the tool base, such devices can be used.

When the first row of tile materials is installed, it is important to measure everything so that this particular row meets horizontally, along the entire perimeter. Since the quality of laying all rows depends on this. Read more directly about laying tiles in the article ukladka-plitki.

5. Marking of switches and sockets

If the plane of the walls is finished correctly, you can begin marking the places where switches and sockets will be located. This is done once, since the tile cannot be restored after incorrect drilling; it can only be replaced with a new one.

The markup depends on the technological requirements, as well as on your own preferences. In any case, it is recommended to do everything more accurately and carefully.

An important step when laying tiles on the floor is marking the floor. The result depends on the success of the work done. In order for the new coating to last for many years and have a presentable appearance, it is necessary to responsibly approach the issue of marking, choosing in advance one of possible options. In our article we will look at several methods that will tell even a beginner how to mark the floor for laying tiles.

The traditional way of creating markings involves direct or diagonal arrangement of tiles. There are several options for this installation:

  • corner;
  • central;
  • perpendicular;
  • diagonal

Indoors rectangular shape corner laying of tiles has been successfully used, which involves fixing floor products from one corner. The scheme is like this:

  • the first tile is laid in the corner;
  • the next two - to the right side, then 2 more pieces to the left;
  • This is how all the floor products are placed in a row one by one.

The method is quite simple and does not require special skills. With such markings, even an inexperienced person can lay high-quality tiles.

Marking the floor for laying tiles begins from the central part of the room. It is important to determine the middle of the room, draw an even line vertically and horizontally, conditionally dividing the room into four equal parts. It should immediately be noted that this method Only suitable for rectangular or square rooms.

The tiles are laid along the markings, starting from the central part. Floor products are laid alternately: on the left, on the right and then in a row until the end of the floor. The next row can be laid in a “pyramid” or “layer by layer” format. This markup method allows you to create high-quality flooring with a perfectly flat surface.

The disadvantages include the laboriousness of the actions, so coping with this layout is not as easy as it seems at first glance. For a beginner who wants to produce renovation work according to the central laying method, it is necessary to carefully think through the sequence of actions and not make mistakes when performing the marking itself in the central part of the room.

For non-standard premises that have incorrect geometric shapes, it is recommended to use the perpendicular laying method. Sequence of actions:

  • the initial marking is placed in the central part of the room where the first tiles will be laid;
  • a perpendicular line is drawn from the laid tiles, on the basis of which a whole row is laid;
  • then it is necessary to perform a similar “up-down” laying, forming central rows;
  • all subsequent products are laid alternately, relative to the laid tiles in the central part.

Another way to style floor tiles- diagonal, provides pre-creation diagonal markings:

  • we find the central part of the room and put a mark;
  • we make a connection from the walls in a straight line “up-down” and “left-right”;
  • then we draw two more straight lines diagonally, thus connecting the corners of the room.

The tiles are laid out one by one, taking into account the created markings. You can perform sequential actions from the wall of the room or from the central part where the main mark is installed. Everyone can independently determine a more acceptable method for creating a smooth floor covering.

People choosing non-standard solutions, a perfect method for laying tiles with design, having certain features and nuances. First of all, it should be noted that only experienced specialists can do such work. For beginners, it is better to choose more simplified schemes, which will eliminate unevenness and poor-quality results.

Designer tile laying is done in several ways. The geometry of the drawing is at the request of the master. To create the correct markup you will need:

  • checkered paper;
  • creating a pattern intended for installation;
  • transfer the finished pattern onto the prepared paper;
  • In accordance with this scheme, the floor is marked.

Experts recommend calculating in advance the number of tiles to be laid: whole and cut, used for decoration. When performing work, it is necessary to strictly follow the drawn up drawing so that the intended design solution perfectly formed on the floor covering.

Laying tiles yourself is not an easy task, which is why many people trust it to professionals. But such a solution is quite expensive, and therefore doing the work yourself is far from uncommon. This is exactly what helps step by step installation tiles

An important factor in this case is strict adherence to work technology. In total, the entire process can be divided into 7 stages. More specifically, styling ceramic tiles on the floor is carried out in the following sequence:

  1. First of all, materials are calculated, purchased and tools are prepared.
  2. Next, you need to prepare the surface; in this case, the base is leveled and primed.
  3. The next step is marking, which involves rough laying out the tiles and making marks, in some cases, support stops.
  4. The next step begins laying, in particular the first row.
  5. Next, the entire area is laid with solid tiles.
  6. The next step is cutting the tiles and laying them.
  7. And finally the joints are grouted.

Thus, for correct execution laying tiles on the floor with your own hands detailed instructions simply necessary. And then we will look in more detail at each of the stages of work.

Preparation of tools and materials

In the case when installation is carried out tiles do it yourself, you will need the following tool:

  1. Trowel.
  2. Several spatulas, in particular, serrated, regular and rubber.
  3. You should also arm yourself with several levels, small, up to 50 centimeters in size, and medium, up to 1 meter.
  4. Next up is a rubber mallet.
  5. One more necessary tool becomes a grinder or, since in most cases it is simply necessary to cut tiles. Here it can also be noted additional accessories, such as wire cutters, sandpaper and a file.
  6. And the last device will be a container for the glue mixture.

We've sorted out the tools, now we should pay attention to the materials, or more precisely to their calculation and purchase.

In particular for correct calculation It is not enough to simply measure the surface area; factors such as:

  1. Tile size.
  2. Thickness of the adhesive mixture layer.
  3. Tile type.
  4. Base material.
  5. Presence of obstacles.

All these factors simply need to be taken into account. In addition, if it is necessary to cut tiles, you should also pay attention to the size of the pieces. Because if they are more than half the size of the tile, then for one such row you will need to purchase twice as many tiles.

Usually, when making calculations, 10-15% is added to the resulting number, which is mostly enough to cover cutting costs, as well as cases of defects (damage to tiles, incorrect cutting, etc.).

Speaking about the adhesive mixture, here the calculation is carried out based on the type of tile, the type of the mixture itself, size, and required thickness layer, which is usually indicated on the packaging.

For calculation required quantity grout and glue, you can use the calculators on our website:

This issue has been sorted out, now you can move directly to the technological process.

Preparing the surface for installation

The first issue is preparing the foundation. It is very important to ensure that the surface is as smooth as possible, otherwise ideal installation will not work. The main mistake is the myth that a slightly larger layer of glue can hide unevenness, which is not true. High-quality styling It is possible only on a flat base, and nothing else.

Before laying, it is first necessary to dismantle the old coating, if any, down to the very base. The next step is to form and.

The method of leveling the floor does not play a role here. This could be either the installation of a “warm floor” system, etc. The main factor is full compliance with the technology of work.

Also, all thresholds, baseboards and other obstacles that may interfere with laying the tiles flush against the wall must be dismantled.

In some cases, it is possible to lay tiles on the floor without dismantling the old covering (in particular, provided that it is also tile).

Surface marking

And the next step is marking the floor surface, which is especially important when laying uneven tiles. It is carried out as follows:

  1. Mark the straight line of the first row of tiles. Since the installation is carried out starting from the far corner of the room, the markings are accordingly done as well.
  2. Next, markings for the location of the material are made. In cases where tiles are laid without seams with a pattern, a complete drawing of the arrangement of elements is necessary.
  3. An important factor is the placement at the entrance; in this case, the marking should be carried out in such a way that solid fragments lie at the door; accordingly, it may be necessary to make an indentation from the far wall.
  4. An important factor when marking is taking into account which also plays a role.
  5. You can also pre-lay out the tiles on the surface for more accurate implementation markings.

Laying tiles diagonally

Beginning of laying and filling the area with solid fragments.

After the markings are completed, you can begin laying ceramic tiles with your own hands. To begin with, we will directly analyze the arrangement of the first row and the further laying of solid fragments, after which we will move on to cutting and final laying.

So, let's look at how tiles are laid, step by step instructions in this case it will be the best helper:

  1. First of all, you need to prepare the adhesive mixture. There shouldn't be any difficulties here. We do everything according to the instructions on the package. In this case, the amount of kneading should not exceed that required for an area measuring 1 square meter.
  2. Now, armed with a notched trowel, apply a layer of glue to the floor surface. For greater reliability, you can also apply a layer to the tile itself; in this case, the grooves of the mixture on the surfaces should be perpendicular to each other.
  3. We place the first tile on the glue, and then press it down, lowering it to the required level. Next, you need to level it to an ideal horizontal position, which is checked using a building level.
  4. For leveling, a rubber hammer is used, with the help of which, with light tapping, the tile is pressed more tightly to the surface.
  5. It is important to do everything quickly and carefully. After installation, it is highly undesirable to remove the tiles from the surface.
  6. So, the first tile is laid and leveled. Now you can start laying the next ones.
  7. In the same way as in the first case, glue is applied and the tiles are laid on the floor. Next, alignment is carried out at the level of the first element. If necessary, you can add a little glue.
  8. After the final shrinkage of the tiles, the excess mixture is removed.
  9. It is important not to forget about or special ones to form identical seams over the entire surface.
  10. It should be placed either in the corners, at the intersection, or with an indentation of 2-3 centimeters from the edge of the tile.
  11. All gaps between the tiles should be immediately cleared of excess adhesive, since once it dries, cleaning will be almost impossible.
  12. Large tiles are laid in the same way.
  13. Next, the base area is completely covered with whole fragments.

At this point, this phase is completed, and you can move on. Before that, you need to let the glue set and harden to such an extent that you can walk on the coating. It is advisable to leave the masonry for a day, and then continue working.

Cutting tiles and laying the remaining fragments

The next step is to cut the missing pieces of the coating. Several tools can be used to cut tiles, depending on their type and thickness. In some cases, it is permissible to use a glass cutter, in others you can only cope with the help of an angle grinder. And for porcelain tiles you will need already.

Having chosen a tool, you must first take all the necessary measurements and make marks on the tile. All marks are made with back side. Having marked the tiles, you can start cutting. Since the process is quite dusty, it is advisable to carry it out outdoors.

If it is necessary to cut uneven fragments, for example, arched ones, use a machine with a diamond wheel or a special tile cutter-nippers.

The cutting process itself is carried out as follows:

  1. The tile must be firmly fixed so that it does not wobble or vibrate when cutting.
  2. After which, following the applied marks, cutting is performed.

In the case of using a special tile cutter, it includes a special platform for fixation and limiters, with the help of which you can indicate the direction of cutting.

Grouting tiles

And the last stage is grouting the joints. It cannot be carried out only if seamless styling tiles

To start, you need to wait until the adhesive mixture has completely dried, and then completely remove crosses and other crosses from the surface. auxiliary materials, if any were used.

Before we start, we conduct complete cleaning surface, which can be done with a vacuum cleaner, and let's get started. The process itself is carried out as follows:

  1. Cover the edges of the tiles with masking tape. This is done if the tiles are matte and the pores are large and to avoid contamination and reduce the amount of work required to clean the tiles when using epoxy grout.
  2. The next step is to dilute the grout and apply it using a rubber spatula.
  3. Movements are performed perpendicular to the seam, with pressure in order to completely fill the seam with the composition.
  4. After which the excess mortar is removed, the seam at the same time is slightly deepened and leveled.
  5. After complete drying, the tape is removed and the surface of the tile is wiped with a damp sponge.

Laying tiles on the floor one of the most important stages apartment renovation. High-quality laying of tiles on the floor requires some skill, however, if you follow the technology and perform preparatory work, quite possible with your own hands.

Choosing tiles for flooring

Tiles that have increased strength and a non-slip surface are suitable for laying tiles on the floor. Tile class B2, with moisture absorption 3-6%. Optimal size floor tiles 30×30 cm; 33.3x33.3 cm; 45×45 cm. Thickness of floor tiles from 8 mm to 12 mm.

Laying tiles on the floor - preparing the base

The floor surface for tiles can be almost any. But each tile base must be prepared depending on the structure.

Preparing a wooden base for laying tiles

Secure loose floorboards with self-tapping screws. Drill in wooden floor more ventilation holes. Lay the waterproofing layer overlapping on the floor, use plastic film. Lay GVL sheets (gypsum fiber sheet) on the film with an offset of half a sheet: start laying the first row with a whole sheet, lay the second row with half a sheet. Thus, you get an offset of half the sheet. Glue the joints between the GVL sheets with PVA glue or special waterproofing mastic. After the laid GVL sheets have been primed, the floor is ready for laying tiles.

Preparing a concrete base for laying tiles

For laying tiles, check as follows. Make some serious scratches on the floor. If the edges of the scratches do not peel off, the screed is well made.

The concrete floor for laying tiles should not have sharp changes and be level across the horizon. Clean the base from dust. Prime with universal primer deep penetration. The floor is ready for tiling.

Preparing a concrete heated floor

Preparing a concrete base is no different from preparing a simple concrete floor with only one difference.

Important! Laying tiles on the floor is carried out only when the warm floor system is turned off.

Preparing a wooden heated floor

To lay tiles, first lay gypsum fiber sheets on the base of a wooden heated floor, spaced halfway across the sheet. Coat the joints with PVA glue or mastic. The heating system must be turned off. After priming, the floor is ready for tiling.

Preparation of cable heated floors using thermal mats

After installing the thermal mats, testing them and then turning them off, the floor is ready for tiling. Tiles can be laid directly on thermal mats using tile adhesive. Laying tiles on the floor is carried out only when the warm floor system is turned off.

Preparing materials and tools for laying tiles on the floor

To lay tiles on the floor you will need the following tools:

  • Notched spatula with a tooth pitch of 8 mm. Select the tooth pitch to be the same as the thickness of the tile. The width of the spatula is equal to the size of the tile.
  • A simple spatula, 150 mm wide.
  • Rubber mallet
  • Container for mixing tile adhesive (wide bucket 15 liters).
  • Construction level 1 meter long.
  • Short building level, 40 cm long.
  • To cut tiles you will need an angle grinder, grinder or tile cutting machine.
  • To clean the seams you will need a plastic, hard but flexible spatula.
  • To grout the joints, prepare a wide plastic spatula.
  • Also, for work, prepare a sponge, a rag and a small container for mixing the grout.

In addition to the tile itself, you need to buy the following material

  • Tile adhesive (possible). Tile adhesive consumption: 10 kg per 1 sq. meter with an adhesive layer thickness of 10 mm.
  • Crosses for tile joints
  • Grout for seams. Buy ready-made grout in the desired color.

Marking the floor before laying tiles

Before you start laying tiles on the floor, you must carefully carry out the installation. Determine the geometry of the room. That is, you must draw a regular rectangle on the surface of the floor of the room. The top of the rectangle should be located in the “red corner” of the room. The “red corner” is the corner from which you will begin laying the tiles. As a rule, installation begins from the most visible corner of the room (Fig. 2,4). The boundaries of this rectangle will be the boundaries of the outermost tile rows.

Mark the floor carefully. Think through all the little things and details. For example, if you have a fireplace or other permanent design element in your room, keep in mind that the tiles should lie sevenfold in relation to this element.

After marking, place several tiles without glue on the floor according to the markings. Visually see how the styling pattern looks. If you don’t like it, redo the markings (move the laying lines to the right or left).

Starting work on laying tiles on the floor

There are many ways to start laying tiles on the floor. Here I will give three of them.

1.The first method is to lay tiles from the most visible corner of the room

  • By hand or using an electric drill with a mixer attachment, dilute the tile adhesive in a finished volume of 2-3 kg.
  • Using a simple spatula, apply glue to the floor surface. The adhesive layer should be approximately 10 mm. The application area should be slightly more area one first tile.

  • Spread the adhesive layer evenly with a notched trowel.
  • Along the border of the drawn marking, lay the first tile on the glue. Press the tiles evenly into the adhesive by 2-3 mm.

  • Using a short building level, align the tiles strictly horizontally in all directions. Measure the level according to. Eight directions: diagonally (2), in the middle (2) and along the edges (4). Adjust the level light tiles tapping with a rubber mallet or hitting with your hand.
  • Lay the following tiles according to the diagram (see below). Check the horizontal position of each tile several times with a long building level.

  • Each tile must be pressed slightly into the adhesive solution. Insert prepared crosses between the tiles. Check by touch that the tiles match along the edge of the row, as well as in the crosshairs. Four tiles.

  • Pay special attention to laying and leveling the first three tiles. From them correct installation The laying of the entire surface depends.

If the laid tile immediately “falls” horizontally or in relation to other tiles, the tile must be completely torn off from the mortar, a new cushion of glue is made, the layer is leveled with a notched trowel and the tile is laid again.

Important! It is not allowed to place mortar partially at the corners of the tiles. This will lead to subsequent splitting of the tile during operation. To set (recess) the tiles, use hand force or light blows with a rubber hammer.

Check by tapping. The sound of the blow should be dull, and not thump like a drum.

2.The second method of laying tiles on the floor from the middle of the room

  • When marking the floor before laying the tiles (see above), determine the middle of the laying perimeter drawn on the floor.
  • Draw a center line. This will be the “zero” laying boundary.
  • Lay the floor tiles to the right and left of the center line according to the diagram below.

This method of laying tiles is well suited for laying tiles “in a run”.

Do not forget to constantly check the horizontal installation. Insert plastic crosses between the tiles. Make sure that the edges and corners of adjacent tiles are at the same level.

3. Method of laying tiles on the floor. Laying tiles from the center of the room

Mark two central perpendicular lines on the floor from the selected center. Lay the first tile from the middle and move towards the walls. This method of laying tiles on the floor is well suited for rooms with irregular wall geometry (bay windows, protrusions, etc.) as well as for laying with panels in the center of the room.

After laying 1-1.5 sq. meters of floor, you must clean the tile joints from excess mortar. Clean with a plastic spatula. After cleaning, the seams should be washed with a not very wet sponge. Don't put off cleaning grout lines. The glue dries quite quickly, and it will be difficult to clean it out of the seams after 3-4 hours.

Cutting floor tiles

The tiles of the outermost row will have to be cut to width. Trim the tiles manually using an angle grinder.

For a more precise and even cut, purchase a small-sized tile cutting machine. It costs about 2 thousand rubles, but it is very convenient to work with. You can trim up to 1 mm.

Grouting tiles on the floor

Grouting of tile joints can begin 24 hours after laying the entire floor surface. Do not rub the seams of the tiles immediately after laying, let the glue harden. Shrinkage of the tile adhesive will cause the grouted joints to crack.

Dilute the grout in a small container until it becomes thick sour cream. Use a rubber spatula to fill the joints between the tiles with grout. Move the spatula in a herringbone pattern towards the seam with pressure. The last movement of the spatula should be along the seam to remove excess.

To align the grout joint, you can use a small piece of round soft cable. By running a piece of cable along the seam, you even out the thickness of the grout layer.

The remaining grout can be washed off with a damp sponge after an hour. For better setting When grouting, wipe the joints every 3-4 hours. Do this 2-3 times. In this case, the sponge should not be very wet. Complete drying tile adhesive 4-5 days.

This completes the installation of floor tiles! Good luck to you in your endeavors!

Especially for the site:

There are only two ways to lay out tiles, and the most difficult is laying tiles diagonally. But even taking into account the complexity of implementation, this installation option has become widespread. In particular, the method reached the peak of its popularity thanks to its unique ability to increase space. But in order to correctly lay the floor diagonally, you need to know all the features, starting with markings and ending with eliminating excess grout.

Marking the base and preparing for installation

The main mistake that novice specialists make, as well as those who decide to carry out repairs on their own, is wrong choice landmark. In particular, to determine the direction, the diagonal is taken, but note that it is not always accurate, and is also not an indicator of direction, which is necessarily necessary. This approach, of course, will not spoil the quality of the coating itself, but it will certainly affect appearance. Upon completion of the work, entering the room, you can see unevenly laid diamond tiles.

Of course, in some cases this is not noticeable. But it still greatly affects the appearance. And the culprit for this is the incorrect laying angle. As you know, tiles must be laid at an angle of 45 degrees. But do not forget that such an angle can be diagonal only when we are talking about a square room. In other cases, the angle will be either larger or smaller, which causes unevenness.

Marking the floor in a rectangular room

In order for the tiles to be laid correctly, it is necessary to beat not the diagonal, but the bisector of the angle. Or, build an isosceles triangle on the floor. In order to carry out such a construction, it is necessary to set aside segments of the same distance from the corner in each direction of the wall, preferably in accordance with the size of the diagonal of the tile. This will allow you to start laying out the surface in solid tiles, rather than in pieces.

The next thing to note is surface preparation. Everything is simple here, follow the minimum requirements, in particular the absence of moisture and debris, leveling the surface, and this will allow you to obtain the highest quality coating.

Technology of work execution

We briefly mentioned the main thing, and now let’s look directly at how to lay tiles diagonally on the floor. In particular, we will analyze it in the form of visual instructions that can be applied right now. Let us note right away that the instructions are suitable for both.

Marking

As mentioned earlier, the first step is to mark the floor surface. It is performed by marking equal segments from the corner, which will subsequently determine the direction of laying. At the end point of each segment, it is advisable to drive in a dowel, and then tighten the thread, which will serve as a guide.

Primer

The next, mandatory stage of work becomes. If this process is overlooked, then you run the risk of ultimately ruining the result and, accordingly, the tile itself, as well as transferring building materials, which will entail unnecessary financial costs.

The primer is applied using a brush, roller or spray, depending on its type. Upon completion, the surface should be allowed to dry for at least several hours.

After you have primed the surface with a standard primer. If the subfloor is uneven, it is necessary to carry out a preliminary leveling procedure using glue. Since laying tiles diagonally on the floor is not done for one year, additional measures are necessary to increase the quality of the work.

To carry out this kind of work, the tile adhesive should be diluted, and it must be thinned out. Then we plaster the floor surface with it. This process is intended to completely eliminate pores, pits, cracks and other defects on the surface. In this case, immediately after applying it, you can start working. It is advisable to just wait until the adhesive mixture sets (but not necessary).

Laying tiles

Now it's time to actually lay the tiles. First of all, you need to follow the instructions to dilute the adhesive mixture, after which we arm ourselves with a notched trowel and go ahead:

  1. Apply glue to the base ( Also, to improve quality, you can additionally apply it to tiles.). In most cases, the mixture is applied only to the base, which reduces the adhesion area. This way, the applied mixture will be distributed on the floor and allow full contact with the surface.
  2. The next step is to lay the tiles and begin leveling them. The tile must be oriented strictly along the stretched thread or. Having arranged it in correct position Tap it a little with a rubber mallet to get it firmly seated on the glue. Then we check the horizontality using a building level, and if necessary, also level it.
  3. Now you can begin further laying the next tile. We settle it and check the position according to the level; moreover, you should check both one tile separately and two together. In this case, there should be no gaps between the tile and the attached level. In addition, the tile must be horizontal in any direction of the level.
  4. After checking, you can proceed with further installation. Subsequent tiles are laid out in the same way, checking their level.
  5. Upon completion of installation, the coating is left for several days until the adhesive mixture dries. Please note that we do not touch the remaining sections of the floor where laying of cut tiles is necessary.
  6. And finally, before laying the tiles diagonally, we lay the carved pieces of tiles. After a few days, it is necessary to complete the installation by arranging the cut tiles. Cutting is done using a tile cutter or grinder.

Grout

And finally, after drying It is used to grout the joints. The process itself is simple but responsible:

  1. Let's take it.
  2. We breed according to the instructions.
  3. Press the mixture into the seams using a rubber spatula

It is important to carry out the work carefully and slowly, since the grout dries quickly, after which it is impossible to eliminate any errors. It is also important to remove excess material from the surface of the tile upon completion of work on every 2 square meters tiles, which is done with a dry cloth.
