How to organize watering flowers during the holidays. How to water flowers during a vacation or a long absence

Hooray! Finally long-awaited vacation. All thoughts are occupied with the upcoming trip. Just don't forget to take anything with you. And at some point it dawns on you “How to leave indoor flowers without watering for two weeks?”.

How many indoor flowers can be without watering.

There are no options with relatives and friends who find time to come and water home plants. It is not always possible to use the help of loved ones. Therefore, we are looking for other solutions on how to save indoor flowers when going on vacation.
Some species indoor plants need daily soil moisture, and some flowers are able to endure a two-week drought.

  • plants such as cyperus, calamus, azalea require a large amount of water.
  • the soil should be constantly moist (but without stagnant water in the soil) for begonias, alocasia, calathea, lemon, oleander, ivy.
  • ornamental houseplants need to be watered when the top layer of soil in the pot dries a couple of centimeters. Dracaena, clivia, monstera, palm trees, syngonium, columna, aspidistra, aglaonema, it is important that the soil dries out between waterings.
  • but before the next watering, the soil should dry completely at the hippeastrum, gloxinia, zygocactus, crinium, caladium, philodendron. Cacti do not need moisture at all during the winter season.

Knowing how much moisture and how often your plants need it will give you an idea of how long you can leave potted plants without watering. And if the question is in your absence for up to five days, then after watering the houseplants, you can safely leave and not worry about how to leave indoor flowers without watering.

How to save indoor flowers without watering.

If you leave home for two weeks, then we do not recommend leaving indoor flowers without moisture. Otherwise, upon arrival, you will have to re-buy your favorite plants.
There are two ways to protect indoor flowers during the holidays. One of them provides for the expenditure of the family budget, and the other - with minimal costs.
To risk leaving indoor flowers for a long time without watering, without any financial investment, you can do this:

  • indoor plants need to be prepared for your absence. Leaving home is a joy for you, but stress for flowers.
  • we carry out pruning of buds and blooming flowers. So we will help the plant not to waste its strength for flowering during the "separation" from you. Now they will direct all their forces to maintain their vital functions. Plus, you still won’t see the flowering itself.
  • for this period, we reduce the moisture consumption of the plant by thinning the leaf mass. You will have to make a sacrifice, because indoor plants will lose their decorative effect. Some of them will take a long time to recover, but it's worth it.

indoor flowers in ceramic pots need more water than in plastic pots.

  • we rearrange the pots with houseplants from the window sills to the floor. Preferably in the far corner of the room. This is necessary so that the plant receives less light and heat. Reducing the amount of light and heat leads to a decrease in the amount of moisture evaporated by flowers. And, as a result, the plant consumes it minimally. Upon your return, be mentally prepared for the fact that you will not recognize your home oasis. Without proper heat and lighting, indoor flowers will slow down their growth.
  • We put pots with indoor plants close to each other. Thus, a mini-greenhouse is created, which will keep the humidity around and in the middle of it a little higher. The only thing I want to warn you about is that if you place indoor flowers in this way, you increase the risk of disease of all plants in the presence of an already sick one. After all, it is not always possible to immediately determine the presence of diseases or pests on any one flower. And then the affected flower will “reward” all other houseplants with the disease.

Provide proper watering indoor flowers On vacation, you can:

  • put all home plants in a large bowl (basin, baby bath, pallet). Cover the bottom of such an impromptu pallet with a thick layer (at least five centimeters) of expanded clay. Fill the expanded clay up to half with water. And put flower pots on a wet layer. Fill the gaps between pots with expanded clay or cover with wet sphagnum moss.

sphagnum moss is a good accumulator of moisture. As needed, the plant takes moisture from the moss.

  • to perfect the source of moisture for your indoor plants, we create a greenhouse. We cover all the flowers standing in the pallet with transparent plastic wrap. If not big piece films, you can create individual moisture keepers by putting plastic bags on each plant. Make an exception only for plants with fleshy or pubescent leaves. Such as Saintpaulia, Pelargonium, Kalanchoe. Otherwise, they will rot or become moldy without regular ventilation.

if you are worried about the effectiveness of any method of watering indoor flowers during the holidays, then prepare cuttings of your favorite plants. Until you return, they will sprout roots in a jar of water.

We immediately warn you that after you return from vacation, you will need to remove the packages from the flowers gradually. Accustoming a houseplant to low air humidity and constant ventilation in open form, should be done within a week, then removing, then putting back the mini "cap".

if you can't find a potted plant tray, place plant pots in the tub.

  • You can ensure a constant supply of moisture with the help of plastic bottles. To do this, we make small holes in the lids. Then we pour water into the bottles and place them upside down either on the tray between the pots of indoor plants, or directly into the pot itself. Leaking drop by drop, the water will moisten expanded clay, moss, or soil.

moisture through the holes in the cap of a plastic bottle immediately into the ground is good for large indoor flowers in tubs. For small plants, the bottle watering method is not suitable.

  • many of you have heard about the following method. It consists in passive watering with improvised wicks. We twist the bundles of ropes, laces, woolen threads, bandages or cotton fabric. We lower one end of such a wick into a container of water, and stick the other into the ground. The water tank must be above the level flower pot. Due to the difference in capillary pressure, water will begin to flow to the plants.

for orchids during your vacation, an acceptable method of moistening is that the plant feeds on moisture from the bottom. A pot with an orchid is placed in a container, on the bottom of which you pour a little water and pour drainage.

Irrigation systems for indoor plants.

Watering indoor flowers while away can be entrusted to devices industrial production. Such systems will cost money. But the acquisition of such technologies will pay off at least by the fact that upon returning from vacation, you do not have to re-buy new indoor plants.

  • autonomous watering systems for indoor flowers are called Aqua Globes. The simplest ones are a glass flask that is connected to a ceramic cone. The cone sinks into the soil to ensure uniform wetting of the earthen coma. The capillary-porous structure of the walls of the cone allows water to seep into the ground drop by drop.

before installing for indoor flowers, both homemade and industrial systems humidification, test the speed and volume of water supply. And then adjust the necessary "pressure". This is necessary in order not to flood the plants and prevent the soil from drying out.

  • The Austrian Blumat system is distinguished by the fact that the lower part of the conical cone is made of special clay, which is able to react to soil moisture and independently maintain the necessary moisture in the ground. A thin hose is also connected to the cone, the other end descending into a container of water. As soon as the soil in a pot with a houseplant dries out, the system will begin to supply water drop by drop. The amount of water is regulated by the level at which the water container is located.
  • for passive irrigation there are capillary mats on sale. Such hygroscopic mats are sold in garden centers and large supermarkets in the departments for the care of indoor plants. The operation is very simple. Laying a pallet or even kitchen table with plastic wrap, place a capillary mat on top and place pots of indoor flowers on it. Dip one of the edges of the absorbent mat into a container of water. Water will saturate the mat, and houseplants can easily absorb moisture into the soil through the bottom of the pot.

by cutting the capillary mat into strips, you can use it as harnesses for passive irrigation.

Having picked up any of these ways of watering indoor flowers during your vacation, you will not leave your home oasis without life-giving moisture. And upon your return, the flowers will thank you with lush growth and flowering. Because they will miss you just as much as you do.

Video about do-it-yourself automatic watering methods

Man cannot live without rest, and plants cannot live without water. Sometimes these needs come into conflict, because few people would think of taking indoor flowers with them on vacation or giving up a long-awaited trip in order to care for house plants. As a rule, we trust close relatives and friends to water flowers during the holidays. However, this solution is not always feasible. Firstly, once again I don’t want to burden others with my worries. And, secondly, relatives and friends may simply not know how often and with what intensity to water your violet, geranium, crocus, etc. To save yourself from unnecessary worries, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the most reliable and effective ways organization of automatic watering of indoor flowers during your absence.

Devices for automatic watering of indoor flowers

In specialized flower shops you can find several useful devices that can provide automatic watering flowers during the holidays. Let's take a closer look at their features and effectiveness:

Aquaglob. This device is made in the form of a round flask with a very narrow spout. The essence of the device is quite simple: the aquaglob is filled with water, turned over and immersed in the soil with a narrow part. Since the opening of the flask is extremely thin, the water does not pour out of it immediately, but seeps out gradually.

Depending on the size, aquaglob can provide automatic watering of flowers for a period of one to two weeks.

Blumat (Blumat), which means “carrot” in translation, refers to an automatic drip irrigation system. The design of this device includes a cone-shaped base and a plastic tube. The base is immersed in the soil, and the tube is immersed in a tank of water. Since the system is equipped with special sensors, water enters the soil in a dosed manner. When the earth dries out, the device fills it with water, but if there is enough moisture, the valve on the sensor closes, and moisture is not transmitted. Thus, the device "waters" the flowers as long as there is water in the tank.

Cache-pot with automatic watering. Cache-pots and pots with automatic watering are equipped with a special water storage and transfer system, which is located at the bottom of the products. When you water the flowers, the rest of the moisture remains in the device, and then evenly distributed over the soil as it dries.

Some of these planters and pots, in addition, are equipped with an indicator that allows you to set the mode and intensity of watering for several weeks in advance.

Devices for automatic watering flowers from improvised means

Everything modern systems automatic watering of indoor plants are created in the likeness of the well-known improvised designs. Therefore, it is possible to organize watering flowers during the holidays from improvised means.

Autowatering from a dropper. With watering flowers during your absence or vacation, a simple medical dropper can handle. To create an automatic sprinkler, you need to attach the dropper tube to the water tank and adjust the intensity of the dripping with a clamp. After that, put the dropper needle on the ground near the roots of the plant, but do not deepen it into the soil, otherwise it will quickly clog.

How to water flowers when you leave home

Automatic watering from a plastic bottle. An ordinary plastic bottle will also help to save flowers during the holidays. To make a flower drinker out of it with your own hands, you need to draw water into the jar, put a thin mesh on the neck, screw on the lid and use a needle to punch several small holes in the lid. After that, the drinker bank is turned upside down and deepened into the soil. Water will gradually seep through the holes and the plants will not be left without moisture. But, since the intensity of the “bottle” watering cannot be adjusted, it is likely that the drinker will flood the plant. To avoid this annoyance, use automatic bottle watering only for large-scale pots and moisture-loving plants.

Automatic watering from capillary mats. Unlike previous methods, automatic watering with the help of capillary mats provides the soil with extremely slow, but regular moisture. This method automatic watering is very simple: you need to put a wide piece of cloth under the pot and lower its free edge into a container of water. Because the fabric tolerates moisture well, the soil will be hydrated through the pot's drainage holes.

As a capillary mat, it is best to use a terry towel that gets wet quickly or a ready-made capillary mat.

Wick watering. It involves the transfer of water to plants through a wick - any rope or cord that does not rot from moisture. One end of the wick is placed in a container of water, and the other is deepened into the soil. To ensure faster and better humidification, it is recommended to install a water tank above the level of the pot.

If, shortly before departure, you decide to transplant flowers, then stretch the wick through drainage hole pot and place it on a tray of water. In this way, root system plants will receive moisture without your participation.

We have already figured out a little about how to water flowers when you go on vacation. Now let's look at a few important nuances, which will help to preserve the flowers during your departure:

firstly, so that the plants waste moisture more slowly, move them to a cool and dark place;

secondly, install the pots close to each other so that the most capricious specimens are in the middle;

and thirdly, whichever automatic watering system you choose, on the day of departure, water the plants abundantly and spray their leaves.

In addition, to reduce the amount of fumes, spread around flower pots drainage, moss or hydrogel. If a plant is very capricious and demanding to care for, cover it with a plastic cap with air holes, thus creating the most favorable microclimate.

A simple way to auto-water flowers while away from home

In order for automatic watering of flowers during the holidays to be truly effective and safe, experiment with it in advance. Choose the optimal intensity of irrigation and the method of automatic water supply, and then your plant pets will thank you with health and beauty.

Method one- Plants are watered abundantly, so that the earthen ball is completely saturated with water. If the pots are clay, then it is advisable to wrap each pot with moss, which is also thoroughly moistened. You can also place a clay pot in a plastic one, bigger size, and fill the space between the walls of the pot with moistened expanded clay. In plastic pots, the soil is covered from above with wet moss or expanded clay. Watered plants are placed on pallets or in wide basins with water, without saucers, so that the lower part of the pot is in the water. Plants that categorically do not tolerate when "feet in the water" are left on saucers, and the water that has drained after watering is drained. This method is effective if the plants are left for 7-10 days and if there are many plants.

Method two- Useful if there are not many plants, and also if the plants are very sensitive to excessive moisture (both soil and air). The plant is watered so that the earth ball is saturated with water. A plastic bottle with water and a thin knitting needle (or vice versa with a thick needle, or an awl) heated over a fire is taken, a hole is made in the cork, then the same hole must be made at the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is dug into the pot with the neck down to a depth of 2-3 cm. Water, flowing out drop by drop, moistens the soil. There is very important point- you need to practice on the bottles in advance in the size of the holes. After all, it may turn out that the water will flow out too slowly, or vice versa too quickly. It is best to try this method some time before departure on a pot without a plant filled with dry earth. Watching for several days how the soil is filled with moisture, you will determine for yourself whether such a hole in the bottle is suitable or you have to change it. When you are able to optimally "tune the bottle" - then the problem of watering during your absence will be solved once and for all. The duration of such watering depends on the size of the bottle.

Method three- A wick is twisted from a bandage or a strip of cloth, one end of which is placed on the surface of the earth in a pot, and the other is lowered into a container in water, which should be located above the pot. Here you should provide for the number of wicks for a certain size of the pot. So for a pot with a diameter of 10 cm, one wick is enough, and for a pot with a diameter of 25-30 cm, 3-4 wicks are needed for an adequate supply of water. This method is effective if the plants are left for 7-10 days.

Method four- If your plants are grown in pots with good drainage holes in the bottoms, then this method will work for you. An oilcloth is spread on the table (so as not to spoil the furniture), on it is a wide strip of any dense woolen fabric (cloth, felt, an old children's blanket, batting folded in several layers, etc.), previously soaked in water. Pots with already watered plants are placed on the fabric (of course, without saucers). The end of the cloth should hang down from the table and fall into a large container of water placed slightly below the level of the table with the plants. The fabric is kept moist all the time and the plants receive water through the drainage holes in the pot. This method is effective if the plants are left for 10-20 days.

Method five- If you are leaving not for 7-10 days, but for 3-4 weeks, and more than once a year, then it would be advisable to purchase an automatic watering system. Now they are sold in any major city and represent a container with water, a set of thin tubes and a program control that turns on the water supply at certain intervals, for example, 2 times a day.

You love indoor plants. But sometimes you have to go somewhere, for example, on vacation. How to save flowers during your absence? After all, do not leave them to their fate. Why not go anywhere because of the flowers? This will be discussed.

Even if you are not going on vacation, you may always need to go, for example, to visit relatives or on a business trip. And that everything “grown by overwork” will be lost? Oh no! . If there are no relatives or neighbors to whom you can entrust watering plants, having painted how, when and how much to water, then it does not matter. things are compatible. There is various options how to keep flowers while you're away.

The period of your departure is up to 7 days, if the weather is not very hot, the bulk of indoor plants can survive without special adaptations, here we are not talking, of course, about very tender and moisture-loving plants. And if these are cacti and aloe, then they will calmly endure a two-week absence of watering.

In case of a week-long absence and hot weather, you can put the pot together with the surface of the earth in a plastic bag or put wet moss, felt cloth, and even just a piece of oilcloth on the surface of the earth, after watering the plants well. For the period of your absence, it is better to remove the plants from the windows, especially if these are southern windows.

For large flowers, drip irrigation can be arranged from a small hole in the cork of a plastic bottle made with a thick needle. The bottle is installed vertically, with the cork down on the surface of the earth, you can deepen it a little. A hole must also be made in the upper part of the inverted bottle (what used to be its bottom). To maintain the position of the bottle and give stability, it must be tied to some kind of support. How fast water will flow out of the bottom hole depends on the size of the hole. This is determined in a practical way in advance.

If you will not be at home for 10-12 days, then the most common way to water the plants will be watering them from a container of water that comes along the ropes.

Water container

We remove the plants from the window, you can put them on the floor in a circle. In the middle of the circle we place a container with water, which should be located slightly above the ground in flower pots.

Watering plants while on vacation

We take a rope or a narrow strip of fabric, one end of which is placed in water, the other on the surface of the earth of the plant. We do this procedure with all the plants placed around the container with water. Watering plants is carried out on a wet rope.

As long as there is water in the container, the soil in the pots will be moist, so the water container should not be too small. Vents should not be left open. And it will be better if you limit the space in which you leave flowers by closing the doors to the room. Plants should not be placed in the bathroom, they still need light.

plant under the jar

Small plants can be placed under a glass jar. And you don't have to worry about them. The same can can be used to cover low plants up to the surface of the earth so that there are no gaps between the edge of the can and the surface of the earth.

There are wide plastic jars on sale, they can also be covered, but the plants are already larger. Or you can use bottles from under drinking water. Cut off the top at the level of the tapering neck and cover the plants.

If you are leaving home for 2-3 weeks and there are a lot of plants, then you need to pack them more securely. It is worth stocking up with plastic wrap in advance big size. It is usually sold as a "stocking" with a width of 1.5 m. For one package you will need 1-1.5 running meters depending on the height of indoor flowers.

Small plants can be packed in separate bags. If you put the bag on top, then tie it tightly with a rope below, stationery rubber bands or adhesive tape will also work. If you place the plant in a bag, then the top of the bag must be hermetically sealed. Here it is easier to use paper clips, a stapler, rubber bands, or just tie it with a string.

If there are a lot of plants, then we make them close to each other, given that each of them should receive a little light, we put higher and less light-loving plants in the background. Two or three of the most tall plants you can put it on the sides, the top of the film will hold on them, I usually have large ficuses.

When the main part of the plants is composed, carefully put on a stocking from the film, straighten the film, lifting it up and fasten with clothespins around big plants above.

Flowers during the holidays

We also connect the ends of the film at the top with clothespins or paper clips, forming an airtight space under the film, where the flowers will live during your absence. It is better to place such a greenhouse away from the window, but it is also possible to place it on the window.

If you placed the flowers on the window, then leave a small gap in the upper part of the film, when the sun comes up, the excess heat will go up a little.

Before wrapping houseplants in foil, they should be well watered. Under the film, you need to install one or two containers of water the size of a glass, then even if it is very hot inside, the humidity will help the flowers survive.

If you grow flowers on special racks, then the principle is the same, you just need a lot more film. The film is completely covered with a rack to the floor and containers with water are placed inside.

From practice. Geraniums do not like moisture and they need light, in extreme cases, place them separately from other flowers, on north side and do not put a container with water inside, then maybe they will be preserved better.

After a long stay under the film, do not remove it abruptly, first open the top a little, and after the heat and moisture come out, remove the film completely. Some flowers may form aerial roots, which can then be cut off. Some flowers can shed their leaves, pachistachis, pomegranate will definitely do this. Some of the plants will not be happy with excessive moisture, some will wither, but they will survive. Ficuses, lemons, dieffenbachia, violets, syngoniums, begonias, ferns, eucharis, fat woman tolerate such living quite tolerably.

It's summer, heat, July ... It's time for vacations, trips to the garden, to the forest, time to live in summer cottages ... And who will water the flowers left at home? And even though I’m not in danger of a vacation this year, remembering old grandmother’s ways and looking for new ones can be useful.

Method one. Almost automatic watering

This method is as ancient, venerable and indestructible as the practice of floriculture in Russia. It consists in the fact that among your inner circle, you first need to choose a victim, and then appoint her - responsible for the life, health and flowering of your pets. A neighbor, girlfriend, mother, mother-in-law, own husband are perfect for the role of the victim ... Add to the list yourself.

So, the “neighbor” type automatic watering system is set up, you just have to bring the excellent gardener up to date - who and how often to water, where and when to turn on the backlight, what and how much to feed, how to bathe, etc. etc. You can play it safe and stick a note with quick guide to action.

This method guarantees you an excellent tan and good mood within 2-3 weeks or even more.

Method two. Water - all around water

This old method says: collect all the flowers in the house, take them to the bathroom, arrange freely. Field from the heart. Yes, and leave it there, if there is a window in the bathroom. Just don't forget to plug the hole in the tub and pour some water. Quite a bit, about 1/3 of the height of the pots. Remember that clay pots evaporate moisture faster than plastic ones, so it is advisable to wrap them with wet moss. Or you can put a clay pot in a plastic one, and fill the space between the walls with wet moss or wet expanded clay.

If you have plants that do not tolerate the position of "feet in the water", restrict them to only abundant watering.

This method promises a calm rest for the grower for 7-10 days. And I guarantee that upon arrival you will find your flowers in perfect health and in the same composition.

Method three. Physics must be taught!

The technology of such watering of plants during our absence came to us again through the centuries. And although it is based on the laws of physics, its external content is more reminiscent of fine choreography, or rather, dances with tambourines.

You will need a large water container, the largest you have in your home. Some woolen thread, bandage or any other hygroscopic material. From a bandage or thread, you need to twist the wicks, one end of which will be immersed in a vessel with water, and the other will go straight into a pot with a plant, where it will need to be slightly dug.

Remembering that physics is to blame for everything, you will have to debug this infernal unit so that the water flows through the wicks neatly into the pot, and does not pour Niagara there. You may have to experiment with the height of the water container relative to the pots. In any case, do not take this method at the last moment as a lifesaver. Check it out first in practice. Still, physics...

If the practical part of the task is completed "perfectly well", you can safely lie on the beach, climb mountains and weed carrots in the country for the same 7-10 days.

Method four. Bottle game

Stop the eighth rule of the florist: never throw away plastic bottles from under the hated cola, useful mineral water and other various and ugly drinks. Oh, it will come in handy!

So, if it came in handy ... We take a bottle, pour water into it, close it with a cork. Armed with a knitting needle or a thick needle, we make several holes in the bottle cap by heating the production tool. Do not try to immediately make huge holes in the lid, turning it into a sieve. First check how it works.

A bottle of water, turning the lid down, stick it into the pot with the plant to the depth of the lid - about 2-3 cm. Watch! How soon the earth is saturated with water, how quickly the bottle is empty, how the plant will feel at the same time.

You understood everything correctly - this is again a method that requires verification before flying south.

If these experiments in field conditions ended in victory over drought, think for yourself on what optimal time you will be able to leave the house without loss among your plants. Usually - a week, another you are guaranteed.

Method five. Medical

It is suitable exclusively for doctors, paramedics, obstetrician-gynecologists, operating nurses and others. medical workers. Because only they with knowledge of the matter will be able to put the "sick" dropper. Drip irrigation is not a new invention, but sometimes you can look at it from a different angle.

The principle is simple. You need to attach a medical dropper to the water tank in any way and adjust the water supply to the plant pot using the treasured wheel.

This method gives you freedom for 1-2 weeks so that you can heal your nervous system shattered on flower fronts.

Method six. Let's go to the mat

On a capillary mat. What did you think?

You will need a piece of hygroscopic material (an old blanket, for example), a free table near the sink, a drain plug.

Water the flowers abundantly before parting. After closing the drain in the sink, pour water into it. Wet the blanket. On the table next to the sink, first spread any water-resistant material (oilcloth, polyethylene, etc.), then an old blanket so that one of its edges lies on the bottom of the sink, absorbing water. On the other side of the blanket, on the table next to the sink, arrange the plants. You can and should put it quite tightly. Water will rise up through the capillaries of the fabric, and potted plants (we remember that each of them has a drainage hole) will absorb water on their own.

Way seventh, eighth and others ...

Each of them is a measure of your ingenuity, ingenuity and resourcefulness.

Someone transfers all the plants in the house to wick watering. Others manage to place each plant in a separate package - a plastic bag with a zipper. They inflate it so that the walls of the bag do not touch the leaves, and leave the plant in it for 3-4 days. Still others, remembering that they have to leave home quite often, purchased “blumats” in the store - the simplest automatic watering systems. Fourth have been successfully using hydrogel for a long time, and therefore they are not afraid of any drought ...

The most cunning and quirky, of course, prepared for the holidays even when they decided to plant cacti in the house. Cacti are desert dwellers, they don't care how long you've been away from home...

This has helped me for several years now.

Before leaving, I wear my plants in the shower. I water, I bathe. I leave it there for a couple of hours, so that the excess water drains and the plants do not experience temperature shock when transferred to the room. Then, I collect all the plants in one room. I don't put any on windows. There's too much light in there. The best place for them, while I'm away, the bright but not sunny middle of the room.

So, we transfer everyone deep into the room, after watering. We cover the windows with tulle. We arrange the plants quite compactly, in the middle - those who are sensitive to air humidity; along the edges - the most hardy and non-capricious. If you have especially delicate specimens (like balsams, cyperus, etc.), think about it - maybe it makes sense to put them in a pot with water, or even give them to someone for a while.

Around the plants, you can and should arrange containers with water. The water will evaporate, making life easier for the flowers. They will be able to absorb the moisture they need with their leaves.

So in the shade and moisture, my plants can wait up to three weeks for me. Checked!
