Leading firms of furniture spring blocks. performance characteristics of the springs. The idea of the emergence of a spring block

There are two types of spring blocks: with dependent springs and independent. Let's take a closer look at what their differences are.

Dependent spring block- in such mattresses, all the springs have a bicone shape and are interconnected by continuous weaving. As a result of this design, the mattress does not accurately repeat all the curves of the body and has a "hammock effect". That is, when one spring is compressed, the neighboring springs are also compressed, which reduces the anatomical properties of the mattress.

Independent spring block- the springs in the mattress are placed in separate covers and work autonomously. Each spring is compressed separately from the others, which gives the mattress a high point elasticity. A mattress with an independent block of springs will better follow the anatomical curves of the body and maintain the spine in the correct position during sleep.

Advantages

An independent spring block is more expensive, but it has several advantages:

Classification

Independent spring blocks are different types and differ in cost. Usually, the description of the mattress indicates the type of spring block that is inside. Each manufacturer may have their own designations for classes of spring blocks. Let's see what these obscure markings mean.

  • Pocket Spring (TFK, S-500) is the simplest and most common type of block. It has a spring 5-6 cm in diameter and on square meter The mattress has 220-300 springs. Maximum load for one sleeping place 110-120 kg.
  • Multipocket (S-1000) is a more advanced type of block, as it follows the curves of the body better. This is due to the fact that the density of the springs in it is higher. The diameter of the spring is about 4 cm, which allows you to fit up to 500 springs per 1 sq. m. Its maximum load is also higher - up to 120-130 kg.
  • Micropocket (S-2000) - has the smallest springs with a diameter of 2-2.6 cm and the most high density- up to 1200 pieces per 1 sq. m. This unit is able to withstand 140-150 kg per bed. In addition, it perfectly follows the contours of the body, as it has a high point elasticity.
  • Hour Glass ("hourglass")- these are springs, which are one of the latest achievements in the field of orthopedic mattresses. They got their name from their shape hourglass. This type of spring has three levels of stiffness at the same time and is suitable for partners with a significant difference in weight.
  • Dual Spring (spring in a spring)– this type of spring is also suitable for partners with a large difference in weight. Their peculiarity is that in one block there are two springs at once - one inside the other. The larger diameter spring has a lower stiffness, and the second one, inside, has a higher one.
  • Reinforced - this type of spring is made of thicker wire and is designed to withstand weight up to 150 kg per berth.
  • With zones of rigidity- this term refers to mattresses that have spring blocks of different stiffness. This is done in order to more accurately provide support.

Now you can easily understand all the characteristics of spring blocks and choose the right orthopedic mattress.

The block of dependent Bonnel springs is a series of springs interconnected by spirals into one whole. It has high elasticity and is resistant to heavy loads, due to the thick wire from which the springs are made. Mattresses on the Bonnel block have been produced for over one hundred and twenty years. During this time, the block proved to be solid foundation mattresses, sofas and to this day is in demand on the market.

Main characteristics

Block springs are made of high-carbon steel wire with a diameter of 2.2 mm;

The spring consists of five coils, the upper and lower of which have a large radius;

The springs are fastened together with a spiral, wire diameter 1.2 mm;

Block height 140 mm, with a reference coil diameter of 90 mm;

The block type is dependent, i.e. all springs in the block are interconnected;

There are 2 main types of blocks: frame and frameless;

Possesses high elasticity and resistance to loading.

Positive aspects of Bonnel

Low price

Due to the low price of the block, the mattress itself is much cheaper, which contributes to its wide distribution. Hotels, children's holiday camps, sanatoriums, hostels, dachas, rented apartments - the main habitat of the mattress on the Bonnel block.

Long service life

Often our store is approached by buyers who want to update their sleeping place due to the fact that it is already uncomfortable to sleep on an old mattress. Fillers for a long time of operation leaked, and the spring block remained almost in its original form. The most centenarians reached the age of 15 years!

Reliable

Thanks to the thick wire from which the spring block is made, it is able to withstand heavy loads and remain virtually unchanged throughout long term services. Also, mattresses are recommended to be taken under heavy weight over 100 kg.

well ventilated

Since the base of the mattress on the Bonnel block turns out to be almost hollow, this ensures good air exchange and ventilation. Accordingly, the mattress quickly evaporates moisture.

Negative sides of Bonnel

The design is outdated

On the this moment new blocks have been developed that surpass the "old man" in all characteristics.

The spring can shoot

The spring in the block is compressed and secured with a "lock", if the mount breaks, the spring straightens to its original position. The spring is not able to cause any harm to a person, as it does not have sufficient strength. As a result, we get a torn mattress and it is no longer possible to sleep in the place where she shot.

Low orthopedic effect

All springs in the block are interconnected, the mattress has the effect of a hammock, that is, under load, not a certain area, but almost the entire mattress sags, which contributes to wrong location bodies on the mattress. It also causes inconvenience when one person rolls over, gets up from the mattress or lies down on it, the excitement of the surface is transmitted to the second person.

Over time, it starts to creak

All springs of the block are fastened together and have a rigid hitch. Over time, after 2-3 years, a skip appears at the mattress, as the fasteners have worn out and loosened under load.

A very important component of the mattress is its spring base. The service life of the product and its orthopedic properties depend on how well the block is made, what materials were used. For the manufacture of independent spring blocks I use three components:

Almost every person who first encounters the purchase of a mattress has a number of questions regarding the spring base of the mattress. What is an independent spring block? How does he work? What are its differences? Why is it best to buy a mattress on such a block?

We will reveal the answers to all these questions in the course of a thorough analysis of the production process of spring blocks. You will see for yourself that everything is actually elementary simple and quite understandable.

So let's get started. As mentioned above, bail good product in three components. The wire we use is made of hardened high-carbon steel, smooth without cracks and depressions, with a diameter of 1.8 mm. It is delivered in bays, which are filled into the machine for the production of spring blocks. In the first compartment, the wire is twisted into a seven-turn barrel-shaped spring and cut off. The finished spring enters the next compartment. It is important to note that modern technology does everything very well and quickly. The output springs are one to one, and the production flow has a very high speed. The master can program the machine to required amount coils and spring height. Indicate what wire diameter is used and all its characteristics, thus modern equipment can produce several types of springs that will be used in the production of mattresses. Their number in the block depends on the diameter of the spring. In the block of independent springs TFK, the diameter of the spring is 5 cm, the density of the springs per square meter is 306 pcs. In the block of independent springs Multipackage spring diameter 2.5 cm, density of springs per square meter 500 pcs. In a block of independent springs Micropackage spring diameter 1.5 cm, density of springs per square meter 1000 pcs.

In the next compartment, the machine wraps the springs in durable spunbond nonwoven fabric. This material not chosen by chance. It has high strength, is not subject to abrasion, is well ventilated, keeps its shape, and, most importantly, is absolutely safe for health. In the next compartment, the springs are separated by a special press, each spring gets its own separate "bag". The output is a spring tape. At this stage, it is important to note that although the springs have a common tape, they are absolutely independent of each other and do not contact each other in any way.

In the next compartment, the machine applies a thin stream of glue to the side of a row of springs and fastens them together. Again, the material is connected to each other, not the springs. A given number of rows, glued into a single structure, is tested under pressure, and displayed on the table, from where the master takes the finished block. The adhesive used in production has high adhesion, strength and heat resistance.

We have considered all the stages of creating a block of independent springs. We drew your attention to the fact that in the block the springs do not interact with each other, the fastening in rows occurs due to the material in which the springs are wrapped. This block design allows each spring to compress under load without affecting neighboring springs.

The mattress, which is based on a block of independent springs, is able to bend under each part of the body in accordance with the load as much as necessary, while maintaining the position of the body in an even state. It is this mattress that is considered orthopedic, that is, able to maintain correct position body during sleep.

An important point is the absence of any noise and squeaks in the mattress, because the springs do not interact with each other.

On double mattresses, two people each have their own sleeping area, which in no way intersect and do not affect each other. Accordingly, turning over in a dream, lying down or getting out of bed, you will not disturb the other person in any way. What can not be said about mattresses on dependent springs, where the entire surface is single and the slightest vibrations are transmitted over the entire surface.

Another one important feature a block of independent springs, which affects the life of the mattress - the compliance of the springs. Thanks to it, not a soft layer of filler works in the mattress, pushing through under load, but a spring block. Everyone knows that metal has greater strength than latex, coconut or polyurethane foam. In the Bonnel block, the springs are quite rigid and the filler in such mattresses is, as it were, in a vice - the load of a lying person presses on it from above, and an elastic spring from below. Thus, the wear of the filler in such a situation occurs much faster. In blocks on independent springs, due to the small diameter of the wire, the spring is easily fed under the load transmitted through the filler, thereby minimizing compression of the soft layers of the mattress.

A mattress on a block of independent springs will last a long time and will please its owner with a high level of comfort!

Mattresses on the spring block Bonnel

Bonnel spring blocks The history of the production of orthopedic mattresses began with the production of mattresses based on Bonnel spring blocks. Let's see what lies behind them? The spring blocks are dependent, that is, the cone-shaped springs are interconnected by special knots for additional rigidity. This design has both its advantages and disadvantages. As for the benefits:

Orthopedic mattresses based on the Bonnel spring block are suitable for people with a large body weight, because due to their rigidity they are able to withstand heavy loads

These mattresses are quite durable, as they retain elastic properties for a long time due to the use of durable materials.

There is an air gap between the springs, which is also important, since sufficient air exchange causes the so-called bellows effect

Orthopedic mattresses based on Bonnel spring blocks are among the most economical option, since their production does not require high costs.

Unfortunately the data orthopedic mattresses they are not without one big drawback - due to the nature of the connection of the springs, the weight of a person is not distributed in the best way. As a result, the spine cannot take the most optimal position.

One of the product categories sold by Technol are spring blocks from the manufacturer leading companies. These systems are widely used not only in the creation of mattresses, but also in the production of sofas and other types of upholstered furniture products. With us you can buy a spring block for a sofa retail or order a wholesale batch of these goods for mass production of various products.

The main advantages of spring blocks of independent type

In favor of the acquisition of spring systems of an independent type, such pluses confirmed by their practical use testify, such as:

  • Durability. The operational resource of blocks of the specified type is higher than that of dependent analogues. A high level of wear resistance is ensured through the use of quality materials, the use of modern production technologies, as well as a special configuration of spring systems. Strong steel, a rigid fit of each element, the presence of a significant number of turns - these are the main factors that affect the reduction of the likelihood of spring deformation and ensuring long term operation of the product.
  • High level of comfort and health benefits. It is no secret that most modern professions lead to a sedentary, sedentary lifestyle. As a result, the population suffers more from various diseases musculoskeletal system. Spring blocks for upholstered furniture and mattresses can provide high level comfort, reduce the load on the spine, produce a high anatomical effect. Thus, furniture products and other products that are created using independent type spring blocks will not only give you comfortable rest but can also help in solving health problems (including disease prevention).
  • Filler safety. If you plan to buy wholesale latex rolls or other materials for the production of furniture or anatomical products, then you can not worry about maintaining their integrity. Independent spring blocks placed in separate covers, so they will not damage the filler.

Spring

A spring is a part of a mechanism that, due to elastic deformation under load, temporarily accumulates energy and, after removing the load, restores its original shape, giving off the accumulated energy. Depending on the purpose of the spring, it can be divided into two groups: working in compression and in tension. In mattress production, compression springs are used.

Given that the springs are under stress, to chemical composition and the mechanical properties of the material from which they are made are subject to increased requirements. For the manufacture of springs, bar steel of various lengths and various profiles is used. Most springs are made from hardened high carbon steel or steel with high content manganese.

The wire is made of steel, which must have smooth surface, without cracks, sunsets, shells and rust. The wire shall not break or crack after winding five turns around a rod whose diameter is equal to that of the wire under test. There should be only one piece of wire per skein or spool. When releasing the skein from knitting, the wire should not be rolled into a figure eight.

Dependent spring block type "Bonnel"

Dependent spring block of Bonnel type Standard-Bonnell 5 turns (AGRO, Germany): turns 5; steel wire; spring wire diameter options 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.5 mm; fastening spring wire diameter 1.3 mm; spring diameter 77-88 mm; spring height options 12, 13 and 14.5 cm; the arrangement of the springs is longitudinal (in a row one after another); the number of springs in a block measuring 88 × 198 cm is 8 × 25 springs (approximately 121 square meters / sq.m).

A special feature of the Bonnel-type continuous weaving spring block is the specific form of spiral springs with a successive decrease in the radius of the coil support, which makes it possible to avoid coil contact, friction and creaking.

These bicone springs are fastened together by a helix of high-carbon steel spring wire. The spiral is fixed with "locks" on the first and last turns, which eliminates spontaneous twisting.

The orthopedic properties of a mattress with this type of spring block are somewhat lower than those of a mattress with a block of independent springs, since all the bicone springs are fastened together - a mattress with the Bonnel spring block type has a "hammock effect", that is, when they lie on it, not only those springs that are under pressure are compressed, but also neighboring ones.

As a result, the mattress only approximately repeats the shape of the body. Sometimes, due to the fact that the same springs are in a compressed position, they eventually lose their elasticity and the mattress is pressed through - which negatively affects its orthopedic properties.

Independent spring block

Independent spring block ECOFLEX Standard (AGRO, Germany): turns 5; steel wire; spring wire diameter options 1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 mm; spring cover made of spunbond material (100% Polypropylene); spring diameter 80 mm; spring height options 12, 13, 14.5 and 16 cm; the arrangement of the springs is parallel (in a row one after the other); the number of springs in a block with a size of 93.5 × 195.0 cm - 13 × 26 = 338 springs (approximately 144 square meters / sq.m).

Unlike a block of dependent springs, in a block of independent springs, each spring (cylindrical or barrel-shaped) is “packed” in its own separate case and glued to adjacent springs, also packed in cases. Covers are made of special fabric or elastic materials.

Mattresses, created on the basis of a block of independent springs, have many advantages, including: noiselessness, independence of sleeping people from each other, improved orthopedic effect.

The last advantage is main feature such a block, which is ensured by the fact that each spring "adjusts" to a separate part of the body, without affecting the neighboring ones. Thus, with a block of independent springs, distributing the load pointwise, it follows the contours of the body.

Independent spring blocks differ in the number of springs per square meter and the arrangement of the springs.

The number of springs varies according to the diameter of the wire and the springs (approximate range of the possible number of springs per square meter is from 144 to 1444, with spring diameters from 80 mm to 26 mm and spring wire diameters from 2.0 mm to 1.6 mm). The more springs, the better the orthopedic properties of the mattress and the higher the level of sleep comfort.

Springs can be located:

  • in a row one after another;
  • through one in a checkerboard pattern (in the form of a honeycomb), as a result of which the rigidity of the spring block increases;
  • spring in a spring - a spring of a smaller diameter is inserted into a spring of a larger diameter, as a result of which the rigidity of the spring block increases;
  • by zones of rigidity (head, shoulders, back, pelvis, hips, calves, feet) - the spring block is divided into zones of different stiffness (3, 5 and 7) that evenly distribute the pressure of the human body (in the pelvic region, the spring block has the greatest rigidity in order to the mattress did not sink too much in the pelvis, not allowing the spine to bend), as a result of which the orthopedic properties of the spring block increase.

Independent spring block ECOFLEX Standard (AGRO, Germany): turns 5; steel wire; spring wire diameter options 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 mm; case of springs made of special material (80% Polyester and 20% Polypropylene); spring diameter 60 mm; spring height options 12, 13, and 16 cm; the arrangement of the springs is cruciform (staggered), with a division into 3 stiffness zones; the number of springs in a block with a size of 187 × 199 cm is 27 × 39 = 1053 springs (approximately in the range of 256-304 square meters / sq.m).

Independent spring block PUNKTOFLAEX 2000S (AGRO, Germany): turns 5; steel wire; spring wire diameter options 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 mm; case of springs made of special material (80% Polyester and 20% Polypropylene); spring diameter 60 mm; spring height options 12 and 13 cm; the arrangement of the springs is parallel (in a row one after the other), with a division into 7 stiffness zones; the number of springs in a block with a size of 94.5 × 196 cm - 27 × 74 = 1998 springs (approximately 1444 square meters / sq.m).

Technological process of production of spring blocks

The production of a block of dependent springs consists of the following steps:

  1. spring production;
  2. spring connection spiral tape;

For the production of spring blocks, wire steel is used. Double-conical spring cups are bent on a special machine. The ends of the wire are fixed on the first and last turns.

The next step in the manufacture of dependent spring blocks is the connection of cups with a spiral tape to each other. As a result of this operation, an unturned spring block is obtained.

The production of a block of independent springs consists of the following steps:

  1. production of the metal part of the spring;
  2. spring packing;
  3. gluing the springs into the block.

Making springs is quite complicated technological process. The spring is given the correct cylindrical or barrel shape - when the last turns are slightly reduced in diameter, as a result of which the edges of the spring become narrower.

The initial material for the manufacture of springs - wire - enters the spring winding unit, where it is preliminarily straightened and then twisted into a spiral of a certain diameter, forming a blank for the future spring. Further, to give the necessary strength, the workpiece is fired. Burning also removes oil from the surface of the spring, which could remain on it after twisting. After these operations, the spring is ready for packing (sealing) in a case.

During the sealing operation, the spring is compressed and sealed into the packaging material using ultrasound. The packaging material is made of a special fabric (eg spunbond) or elastic materials. After that, the finished packaged spring leaves the packaging area and can be used for the next production steps. independent bloc. To connect the finished springs to each other into an independent block, a different type of machine is used. The components of an independent block are fed to the input of the machine - a tape made of packaging material with springs sealed into it. In the future, both parallel and cruciform (staggered) connection of these components is possible.

Tapes of independent spring blocks are glued together in the glue unit of the machine, forming a block of a given length. This process is carried out by several mechanisms that supply glue, apply, distribute and fix tapes of spring blocks, lining, etc. In order to eliminate vibrations inside the block, the springs fit snugly against each other.

As a result, after all operations, a ready-made independent spring block of a given size arrives at the receiving unit of the machine, which will then form the basis for manufacturing modern mattress. This whole process of manufacturing springs is carried out by many blocks and mechanisms of the machine, each of which is controlled by a special computer. The operator, as a rule, sets only the characteristics (diameter, height, etc.) and the required number of springs.

If the spring block (dependent or independent) is supposed to be made framed , then the next production step is the manufacture of the frame and the connection of this frame with the spring block using metal brackets. The spring block can be turned over with one or two frames, or be without them at all.

Dependent spring block type "Bonnel" Maxi-Bonnell 6 turns (AGRO, Germany): turns 6; steel wire; spring wire diameter options 2.3 and 2.5 mm; fastening spring wire diameter 1.3 mm; spring diameter 80 mm; spring height options 16 cm; the arrangement of the springs is longitudinal (in a row one after another); the number of springs in a block with a size of 88 × 188 cm - 8 × 24 springs (approximately 144 square meters / sq.m); spring block edged with 2 profile frames 10×1.4 mm .
