  5. GVL. Gypsum fiber sheet, which is a pressed non-combustible mixture of crushed paper and gypsum.
  6. GVLV. Drywall with increased resistance to moisture.

The first four types of drywall sheets are actively used in construction in the construction of frame partitions, wall cladding, and ceiling filing. GKLV can also be used as an additional insulation. The last two types of drywall from the list above are used:

How to fix drywall with self-tapping screws: consumption per sq. m.

To attach drywall with self-tapping screws, you do not need a large set of tools:

  • screwdriver;
  • special magnetic nozzles;
  • bit;

To fix the drywall sheet in one layer to the frame, which can be made of two materials, it is necessary to take self-tapping screws for metal, the length of which reaches 25 mm, or for wood - 32 mm.

The head of such a fastener is a countersunk carob type. When screwing in, such a self-tapping screw does not break the top layer of drywall, as it presses the edges of the cardboard into the hole.
