The return ticket is valid until the end of the following day. The carrier has the right to extend the validity of the travel document for travel "back" (for example, until Monday inclusive, if the ticket was purchased on Friday or Saturday).

Sometimes it is possible to pre-order tickets. So, in St. Petersburg and adjacent regions (at the training ground of OJSC SZ PPK), clearance begins 7 days in advance. In the Moscow region, at many stations at the test site of JSC "TsPPK", clearance begins 10 days in advance.

To issue a ticket, you need to present to the cashier:

  • an identity document (for example, a passport or a military ID, for a child under 14 years old - a birth certificate);
  • a document confirming the preferential status;
  • a certificate of the right to receive social services in the form of free travel by rail in suburban traffic (a sample certificate approved by the Resolution of the Board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation of November 2, 2006 N 261p).

At many stations, it is possible to issue a non-cash ticket to a social card not only at the box office, but also at ticket machines. We recommend using this feature to save your time.

An accompanying person with a disabled person of the 1st group or a disabled child can issue a non-cash ticket only at the box office upon presentation of a passport. When issuing a ticket, the disabled person must be nearby. The travel of an accompanying person on a non-cash ticket is possible only when accompanied by a disabled person.

If for some reason you could not issue a ticket at the box office (for example, there is no box office at the station), you can issue a ticket on the train. In the absence of a ticket office and a machine at the departure station, a ticket on the train is issued free of charge, in other cases a fee may be charged. At the training ground of JSC "Central PPC" the fee for issuing a non-cash ticket on the train is currently not charged.

The benefit is valid on trains of all categories. When issuing a ticket for interregional express trains and aeroexpress trains, you must also present an identity document. Since the end of July 2014, non-cash tickets for veterans of labor can be issued on the routes of JSC "TsPPK" not only on the day of the trip, but also in advance (up to 10 days).

Train pass for students for a month

Any person interested in saving their money can be greatly assisted by the 2017 student pass. This document is a special student transport card, the number of trips on which is not limited.

Free legal advice:

The document is valid for 5 years. Naturally, any student who wants to save on travel has a reasonable interest - how much does a student travel card cost?

The cost of this type of service is 3500 rubles. If you have a student pass, you will have a convenient opportunity for free travel on almost all types of public transport in Moscow, be it metro, bus, trolleybus, tram or electric train. With this card you save more money during its validity.

Making a travel card is quite simple, and will not take you much time. For this you need:

1. Fill out a questionnaire at the MCF branch

2. Submit 2 digital photos taken on a light background

Free legal advice:

3. Provide a photocopy of your passport, which is necessary for you to enter the database of your educational institution.

The advance payment is 500 rubles. After fulfilling all these conditions, you will be able to pay the remaining 3000 r within 10 days and buy a student pass.

For students living in the suburbs or on the outskirts of the capital, we advise you to purchase a single metro ticket, the price of which is also quite low and depends on the tariff you choose. There are several types of such tickets:

a. One-time (valid for one trip, its price is 55 rubles)

b. Concessionary card Troika (price of one trip is 35 r)

Free legal advice:

in. Unlimited travel cards of the Single tariff (these tickets are beneficial for those passengers who travel by metro more often 3 times a day. The price of the train varies from 210 rubles per day and 2000 rubles per month of use)

Based on the foregoing, you should pay special attention to the fact that the price of a metro ticket in Moscow depends on how often you are going to use this type of public transport. Tickets of this type are especially beneficial only for those who are forced to travel non-metro 4-5 times a day.

Past the checkout

From mid-February, a new preferential subscription to electric trains is introduced for students. It is convenient for those who constantly travel to Moscow and back. Now all beneficiaries, including students, have to stand in line at the box office every day to buy a one-time reduced ticket. In February, full-time students of universities and colleges will be able to get a discounted subscription and ride it for a whole month without worries. The number of trips is not limited. True, only on one chosen route.

As the official representative of the Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPPK) Ilya Chernyaev told RG, in order to get the opportunity for unlimited preferential travel, it is necessary to issue an individual plastic card (IPC) of the student. This can be done at any suburban ticket office.

Free legal advice:

This will require a personal statement, photo, passport, student card and a certificate from the university. The cost of manufacturing the "plastic" itself is 80 rubles. When the map is ready, all that remains is to name the route (within Moscow) and pay 50% of the monthly subscription. If, for example, it costs 2,900 rubles to Ramenskoye, then it will cost 1,450 rubles on the card. Those students who have a Muscovite social card will be able to use it to issue a preferential subscription, also at suburban railway ticket offices. The payment receipt must be kept. When passing through the turnstile, cardholders (both social and individual) will simply apply "plastic" to the turnstile.

The validity of the card is limited to one route, which is paid. It won't work on others. In addition, the next passage through the turnstile is possible only after 40 minutes - so you can’t take the “hare” with you. And one more restriction - the effect of preferential subscriptions does not apply to electric satellite trains, express trains and aeroexpress trains, where tickets with seats are provided.

According to Chernyaev, the exact date of the introduction of the new student travel card has not yet been determined - it is still being tested. This will likely happen in mid-February.

How to issue a student transport card (including submitting an application electronically) - see on a special website: to the electric train.rf.

Many students are educated away from home. To see family, one has to go a long way, so benefits for train tickets are especially in demand. However, such material support is provided only during the academic year. Let's look at what cost students and schoolchildren can buy a train ticket for, as well as what is needed to receive benefits.

Is there a student discount for train tickets?

Students of Russian universities can buy a train ticket with a 25% discount. They can also take advantage of commuter public rail travel privileges. A train ticket for students and graduate students of full-time departments of educational institutions of higher and secondary vocational education will cost half the price - 50% of the current tariff from September 1 to June 15.

Students can buy a train ticket for an electric train with a 50% discount, and for long-distance trains running across Russia - with a 25% discount.

Russian Railways: discounts for students in 2018 under the bonus program

Full-time students and graduate students of the country's universities can use the loyalty program and purchase a train ticket according to a simplified scheme. A discount on train tickets for students is provided for travel in compartment cars of long-distance trains of JSC FPC.

University students aged 16 to 25 can take advantage of the 25% discount. To apply for a benefit, you must send a request for the assignment of the status of "Student" and a scan of the certificate on the letterhead of the educational institution, confirming the fact of education. The request is sent through the feedback form in the personal account on the website of the Russian Railways Bonus program - now there is no need to contact the trade union committee of the university. However, the carrier has the right to verify the authenticity of the certificate.

A ticket with a student discount can only be issued in the name of the owner of the bonus card.

Are there student discounts on train tickets?

Yes, schoolchildren and pupils of educational institutions in Russia are provided with a 50% discount on a railway ticket. It is provided to children from 10 to 18 years old for travel in common and reserved seat cars, as well as in cars with seats for long-distance fast and passenger trains in domestic traffic and suburban electric trains.

When traveling in common, second-class carriages and carriages with seats in branded fast and branded passenger trains, 50% of the fare in a regular fast or passenger train and the difference between the fare in a branded fast or branded passenger train and the fare in a regular fast or passenger train are paid. train.

The period for granting benefits to schoolchildren is from January 1 to May 31, from September 1 to December 31. In summer, the full price of the ticket is paid.

You can buy an electronic ticket at a reduced rate on the website for a child whose age does not exceed 18 years at the time of train departure. For passengers over 18 years of age, travel documents are issued at the ticket office. Special fares are also provided for the travel of organized groups of schoolchildren.

To buy a train ticket at a discount, you need a certificate from an educational institution. In its absence, boarding the train is not carried out. Discounts for schoolchildren on railway tickets are not provided for travel on high-speed and high-speed trains 701-788 numbering.

A certificate of a full-time student or pupil is presented when boarding the train - a ticket is bought without it.

Not everyone knows what benefits are provided for students in our country. Social support measures are provided for all segments of the population, including those in special need.

One of the benefits most demanded by students is a discount on rail travel. Let's deal with the question of how to get a discount, and what is required for this.

Who can get

In 2012, the law "On Education" was adopted, which took into account the difficult financial situation of students and provided them with social support measures. In its original version, it provided for a significant discount on all types of trains, however, the economic crisis affected the change in the law in 2015.

Students of universities of the national type can apply for discounts related to travel in railway transport. If a student is studying at a branch of a Russian educational institution outside the country, he is not entitled to a benefit.

Correspondence students are also deprived of such privileges. The state provides support only for full-time students. The age of students varies from 16 to 25 years old inclusive.

Dear readers! The article talks about typical ways to solve legal issues, but each case is individual. If you want to know how solve exactly your problem- contact a consultant:

APPLICATIONS AND CALLS ARE ACCEPTED 24/7 and 7 days a week.

It's fast and IS FREE!

Preferences apply to students of the following types of universities:

  • state;
  • private, but with state accreditation.

Benefits are not provided:

  • postgraduate students;
  • cadets of military schools;
  • adjuncts;
  • interns;
  • studying by the external method;
  • students of correspondence departments;
  • students of preparatory courses.

Consider the process of obtaining a discount on travel by rail, since it has a lot of nuances.

What are the benefits for students on railway tickets in 2019

Initially, the Law "On Education" assumed the existence of benefits for long-distance trains, which were canceled in 2015.

That is, if the train you have chosen crosses the border of a neighboring state, the fare discount will not be provided, although it is possible to return it with a significant increase in the economy in the future.

Student benefits are issued in accordance with the established rules:

  • benefits apply throughout the year except July and August;
  • discounts are compensated by the federal budget;
  • the discount is 50% of the total ticket price;
  • the benefit is issued for trains of any type, but only for a reserved seat ticket;
  • most regions provide assistance to university students when buying tickets for suburban trains.

We also note that students in large cities have discounts on public transport, for example, in the subway, buses and trolleybuses. This requires the purchase of a travel document.

Let's consider a simple example, taking Moscow students as a basis. A discount for travel in the metro and on the monorail is provided to them according to the student's social card.

The price of subscriptions without limits will be:
  • monthly - 380 rubles;
  • for 3 months - 1140 rubles.

The absence of a discount in the two summer months, July and August, is explained by the fact that this is a vacation time and an intermediate moment between the session and the start of the new academic year.

It is rightly believed that it is at this moment that students who are expelled from the university or have completed their studies can exercise the right to purchase a ticket with a 50% discount for personal needs. It is for this reason that the benefit is not valid during these months.

Students wishing to travel by rail in compartments, SV and luxury class carriages will not be able to purchase travel documents at a discount, because it applies only to reserved seat carriages. However, this preference also gives a lot if the student often visits his relatives using the services of Russian Railways.

Of particular importance is the theme of issuing a ticket at a discount. Previously, the procedure could differ depending on the region and did not always represent accessibility and simplicity.

The lack of information at the stations about programs for students, the unwillingness of Russian Railways employees to explain the situation often led to disputes. Let's talk about how things are today with this.

How to use

The student discount program was officially launched by Russian Railways in 2012 after the adoption of the Law on Education. It was initially easier for students to get a benefit in large cities of the country. This was especially true for Moscow and St. Petersburg, where, in addition to this law, there are their own regional ones.

In some localities, students were offered discounts only on a limited number of trains departing at certain hours, which effectively limited their rights.

Today there are two ways to issue a preferential travel document:

  • at the box office upon personal appeal and presentation of relevant documents (payment is made in cash);
  • through the official website of Russian Railways when paying by card.

If it is more convenient for the student to purchase it personally at the box office, he must present the following documents at checkout:

  • student ticket;
  • an identity document (as a rule, this is a civil passport);
  • a certificate from the place of study on the letterhead of the educational institution indicating the form of study, faculty and course.

In some cities, a student's social card is also issued, upon presentation of which a discount on train travel in the amount of half the cost will also be issued.

To issue an electronic travel document, you do not even need to leave your home or hostel. It is enough to go to the website of Russian Railways. There you need to register and send all documents through your personal account.

Verification of documents will take 2 working days, the student will be able to purchase tickets at a discount throughout the year when using a personal account.

Can they refuse

Among the reasons for legitimate refusals to issue a train ticket with a 50% discount are the following:

  • refusal of the student to provide supporting documents;
  • buying a ticket in the summer months;
  • buying a ticket for long-distance trains;
  • evidence of forged documents.

There are no other reasons for refusal if the conditions for purchasing a ticket are met (age of the student, university classification and form of study).

As a reminder, a student can purchase a ticket for himself, but it is not allowed to purchase discounted travel documents for his friends and relatives.

Today, students do not receive benefits. A number of students are eligible for scholarships, which are quite small. That is why discounts when buying tickets for trains, electric trains and public transport are a measure of targeted support for Russian youth, which really works.

The life of a student is inextricably linked with the movement. Transportation is a big expense for them.

After all, many students enter educational institutions located in another city.

To save student money, various benefits are also provided, including travel. After all, students are a category of the population that does not have a large amount of money.

The Law of the Russian Federation "On Education" provides for the provision of social support measures for students. The state provides assistance to students by providing benefits, including travel by public transport.

Travel discounts

Benefits for students for train tickets and trains:

Benefits only apply to places in the reserved seat, but it does not matter what kind of train it is - fast or regular.

Unlike school discounts validity student - 1.09. – 15.06. This is due to the fact that students pass the session in the summer.

Public ground and underground transport

This benefit is not provided at the federal level, but in some constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the authorities enter into agreements with transport companies to provide benefits to students for these types of transport.

Discounts are available for full-time students only.

Only those students who purchase a public transport ticket or a special smart card can receive such a discount. Each school has its own rules on this issue.

Aircraft and ships

Here we are talking about the features of each region. In this case, you need to find out from each company if they have any discounts for students. Often, local authorities enter into contracts with such companies, which provide for some benefits. If such contracts are concluded, then students can purchase a ticket with a 50% discount on the total ticket price. The flight is carried out only by the middle class, while the cost of luggage is not included in the payment.

For commercial shipments benefits do not apply. These include taxis, some airlines and shipping organizations.

Whenever you travel, you must show student ticket. It should always be with you, just like a passport. Without it, you will not receive a discount, even if you provide a ticket. In his absence, the student may be removed from the vehicle or fined.

Registration and receipt of these benefits

At present, among the students is very popular, the so-called smart card. This is a type of ticket that is used in big cities. In order to obtain this card, you should contact the relevant authorities at your educational institution. To apply for a student travel card, you will need to collect the necessary documents and fill out an appropriate application.

The application contains passport data, data from a student card and an insurance policy. You will also need to take a 3 * 4 photo in black and white, as well as copies of those documents that will be asked at your educational institution. They often ask for a copy of your passport or student ID.

When filling out the application, it is recommended not to make mistakes and blots, and the information must be reliable. The application must be completed in blue ink. After the application is filled out, and all documents are collected, it is necessary to certify all this with a seal. Usually, this entire procedure takes no more than two days. You then receive a decision from your institution's committee.

With a ready solution go to a special box office which issues travel cards for students. You must have your passport with you. The cashier checks the documents and, if everything is done correctly, the student is given a special form back. Two weeks later, you need to come back to the box office, where this spine will be exchanged for a ready-made travel card for public transport. When the ticket is in your hands, it will have a zero balance. You will need to deposit money on it and provide it when you travel.

The validity period of such a card is five years, which is very convenient. That is, a student who draws up a card in the 1st year can use it until graduation. Those students who, for some reason, stop studying, do not have the right to use this card.

Regional features

AT Moscow and Moscow region for students, a social card is provided, which provides for free travel on public transport in the city, but not more than 230 rubles. When traveling by trains and commuter trains, students receive a 50% discount on the total ticket price.

Free travel on the metro can be no more than 350 rubles, and on a bus in the suburbs - 410 rubles.

ISIS Map

There are benefits for students that are not common in the Russian Federation, but are typical for other regions. Among them is the so-called ISIS map.

This card is considered international european travel card. This card can only be obtained by students who have not reached the age of 26.

It can be issued at the educational institution where the person is studying. This issue is dealt with by the same people as the design of a social card. In addition to their educational institution, a student can contact a specialized center that issues these cards. Basically, such centers are only in big cities.

This card provides the student with many benefits. For example, you can use them to buy tickets with a 40% discount on the total cost. It can also be used while flying. In this case, the student can receive a discount in the range of 10-30% of the total cost. This discount is considered very beneficial for students who are studying outside the Russian Federation.

The ISIS card is also considered a student ID. It is international and currently the only one of its kind. Such cards are popular in many countries of the world and are considered very beneficial for those students who love to travel. By the way, in many countries this card gives a discount not only on travel, but also on rental housing. Also, only full-time students can apply for an ISIS card. As already mentioned, it can be issued in a special center, which are available on the territory of the Russian Federation.

To become the owner of this card, you need to come to the office with a student card, passport and take a 3*4 photo. In principle, the list of documents is the same as when applying for a smart card. But there is one difference - this procedure is paid and in order to purchase a card, you will need to pay 600 rubles. Its validity period only one year.

This card is very beneficial for students, as it involves the use not only in the Russian Federation, but also abroad. But it is worth remembering that in different countries there are different conditions for providing student discounts, but they are available almost anywhere in the world.

Thus, travel benefits are considered the most important and significant for almost every student.

So, summing up, we summarize that for full-time students the following discounts apply:

  • Discounts on travel in railway transport, excluding long-distance trains, from September 1 to June 15 inclusive;
  • The discount for travel in railway transport is 50% of the ticket price;
  • Under existing agreements between the authorities and companies, students may be provided with discounts on air tickets;
  • In this case, the discount on the flight will be from 10% to 30% of the ticket price;
  • Students with a social card also have a number of advantages when using public transport.

There is one more point - benefits are provided only to students who study in national educational institutions. If the educational institution is a branch of an institution located in another country, then the discounts do not apply.

About the provision of travel benefits for students and schoolchildren is described in the following video:
