Entertainment in Adygea. Republic of Adygea: sights and interesting places (with photo). The most interesting and beautiful places. Photos with names and descriptions of the main attractions

Adygea is an amazing place on our planet. It is rich in its natural heritage. There are a lot of various sights, impressive tourists from all over the world. For example, there are many mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls. This place is considered a real paradise for those who like to go on short and long term hikes. One of the most popular destinations is the route through the Lago-Naki plateau with climbing mountains such as Pshekho-Su, Oshten, and Fisht.

In addition, many travelers like to stay in the village of Kamennomostsky. It is here, according to their reviews, that many natural resources are concentrated. You can see the amazing sights of Adygea in Kamennomostsky, for example, Rufabgo waterfalls, Khadzhokhskaya gorge.

However, Adygea is famous not only for its natural resources, but also for many other interesting places. For example, there is St. Michael's Monastery. In a word, the sights of Adygea are worth seeing. In this article, we will tell you about the most famous places in detail.

One of the most famous sights of Adygea. This truly masterpiece of nature is located in the gorge of the Rufabgo River. Not far from this place, as mentioned above, is the village of Kamennomostsky. This is where most of the tourist routes start. Therefore, travelers who have been here advise in their reviews: if you decide to go to the waterfalls, it is worth doing it from this settlement.

In total, there are about ten waterfalls in this gorge. Not all of them are known to travelers. The most famous are the Noise waterfall, the Cascade waterfall, and the Chalice of Love waterfall. These places are very fond of many tourists, so the territory is arranged in a special way. There are various paths, platforms, as well as the necessary fences.

In order to get closer to this attraction of Adygea, you need to go through a paid bridge, from which you can see the waterfall, called "Three Brothers".

Plateau Lagonaki (Lago-Naki)

Almost every Russian knows about this sight of the Republic of Adygea. In recent years, this place is quite popular among tourists from all over the world. It is interesting that the area is located partly in the Krasnodar Territory, and partly in Adygea. It is very difficult to draw an exact boundary, since this is a fairly large natural complex.

From all sides, this area is completely different. For example, from the east, the highlands break off with steep slopes, the central part of Lago-Naki is mostly closed by mountains.

The area of this territory is 800 square kilometers. Previously, trade routes passed through this area, connecting the North Caucasus and the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus.

Tourists have a unique opportunity to visit this place and get to know the nature of the Caucasus better. A variety of evergreen vegetation in this area makes the sights of Adygea even more colorful in winter. The enthusiastic reviews of tourists describe wide forests, glaciers, spacious meadows, abysses, and they can be seen in a fairly short time. In addition, on the Lagonaki plateau there is the lowest glacier in the entire Caucasus, as well as in Europe - the Small Fishtinsky glacier.

In the vicinity of the village of Guzeripl, there is Mount Oshten and the ski resort of the same name. This is a kind of main and most popular sights of Guzeripl and Adygea as a whole. This snow-white mountain is located in the western part of the main Caucasian ridge. As you know, in cloudless weather, the top of Oshten can be seen from the city of Maykop. According to the signs and reviews of experienced tourists, if the mountain is clearly visible, it means that it will rain soon.

Many people note that bursts of bad weather are very characteristic of this area. In the summer, it is often cloudy and rainy for a long time.

The main tourist routes pass in the northern part of Oshten. For the convenience of tourists, various markings were put here. This helps a lot in bad weather.

In addition, this area is famous not only for its natural resources, but also for local animals. For example, wonderful black goats are found here. Unfortunately, every year they become less and less. Wolves are partly to blame, as are poachers.

The great advantage of Mount Oshten is the year-round snowy slope. Skiers ski here in winter and summer.

Fisht-Oshtenovsky Pass

The Fisht-Oshtenovsky pass is best known as the pass of the Pshekho-Su mountain and is very popular among tourists. This is a very picturesque and in its own way unique place, which acts as one of the important sights of Adygea, with a description of which we are introducing you today.

From the height of the pass, you can see Lake Psenodakh, resembling a crescent moon or a smile, the upper reaches of the Belaya River and the very peak of Mount Fisht. The Fisht-Oshtenovsky pass was also of great importance during the Second World War. In 1942, the 2nd battalion of the 23rd border regiment of the NKVD fought on its territory in battles with German troops. This is evidenced by a memorial sign erected in memory of those who died in this mortal battle. Also on the pass originate trails leading to the peaks of the Oshten and Pshekho-Su mountains.

One of the iconic sights of Adygea, which attracts not only tourists, but also professional researchers, is the Lago-Naki plateau, where Lake Psenodakh is located. It is located at an altitude of 1938 meters, having appeared for the first time at the bottom of an ancient glacier font. Lake Psenodakh is remembered, as tourists write in reviews, for its bizarre shape, reminiscent of a smile from the outside. The length of such a "smile" is about 150 meters, and the width does not exceed 70 meters. The lake is not deep at all, but the bottom also keeps its secrets. For example, on the southwestern edge of Psenodakh there is a deep funnel, falling into which, you can plunge into the water for three meters, although the total depth of the lake does not exceed 1 meter.

It is also interesting that the water comes mostly from the glacier on the Fisht, so periodically the water reserves completely leave it, leaving behind a devastated moat. There are about ten such periodically disappearing lakes on the Fisht-Oshtenovsky mountain junction, but Psenodakh occupies a dominant position among the rest due to its size.

You can get to the lake from Mount Pshekha-Su through a shepherd's hut-booth in about an hour at a measured pace. Many tourists, judging by the reviews, go to the lake through the Lago-Naki checkpoint. This is a longer route, but still the right one. In these places there is even a well-marked trail, however, you will have to overcome more than 16 kilometers on foot.

Mount Fisht

Mount Fisht is one of the most famous peaks of the Caucasus, proudly rising to 2868 meters. In the previous heading, we mentioned the Lago-Nagi plateau and Lake Psenodakh. It is from this highest point on the plateau that waters from the glacier collect straight into the lake. In good weather, Mount Fisht can be seen from Krasnodar, Sochi and Armavir. This is a favorite place for tourists who prefer active and extreme types of recreation, since there are several tourist routes to the top of the mountain at once. The easiest way in the reviews is called the route through the Big Fisht Glacier. If you want to tickle your nerves, there is always a completely opposite option, in this case, this is the path along the eastern wall. Mount Fisht is an important landmark of Adygea. In winter, these surroundings offer the most beautiful view of the surrounding territories and the entire North Caucasus Range. Therefore, tourists write in their impressions, if you are still thinking about whether to go on a trip along the tourist routes of Adygea - do not even hesitate!

Dah River

The water stream, stretching along Adygea for 23 kilometers, is proudly called Dakh. In the translation of the Adyghe language, this means "beautiful". Let's get acquainted with the sights of Dakhovskaya Adygea in more detail. It is customary to start a fascinating journey to the valley of the Dakh River from the bridge of the same name, built by the Cossacks of the Urupsky regiment. The main tributaries of the river are Shushuk and Sakhrai. The Dakh River runs along several large settlements: the village of Ust-Sakhray and the village of Dakhovskaya, and also affects many picturesque places. If you walk along the river, you can see how it winds strongly and at times forms a strong bend.

Fars River

Previously, the river had a completely different name - "Sosurkay" in honor of the village of the same name, the center of the Adyghe tribe. Today, translated into Russian, “Fars” means “developing”, because this is how you can see the river during floods, when the waters overflow their banks and rush in a swift stream in different directions. The Fars River flows along the Krasnodar Territory and Adygea.

Many tourist routes in Adygea start from the village of Kamennomostsky or Khadzhokh. This combination of circumstances is not accidental, since numerous sights of Adygea are concentrated in this area. The Khadzhokh gorge is a kind of visiting card of this area, which is the end of the Great Khadzhokh Canyon.

A local attraction is a winding rocky crack on the Belaya River, over 400 meters long. For several years, the Khadzhokh gorge has been a well-equipped tourist site, against which many travelers dream of taking a photo.

Conclusion

In today's article, we tried to present in as much detail as possible all the necessary information regarding the popular attractions of Adygea (you could see the photo above). We hope that you, dear readers, managed to find answers to many questions of interest with the help of the article and reviews of tourists. The North Caucasus is a true paradise for lovers of nature, crystal clear air, for lovers of outdoor activities and extreme sports, such as rafting on raging mountain rivers or mountain climbing. Feel free to discover this truly amazing and beautiful world in a new way. Happy travels and new discoveries!

Once upon a time in Tula...

Three people were running along the deserted street of the night city. The windows in the houses were not yet on fire, people slept off after the New Year's Eve. Only in the distance it sparkled with a scattering of lights. station, which was the goal of the night runners. They needed to get there as soon as possible, they were late for the train. But the snow underfoot and heavy bags in the hands prevented the run. Their hearts were pounding, their eyes were sweating, but the thought that the train would show them the tail forced the body to produce new portions of adrenaline.
Here is the platform. The train is already standing. A little more and we are already in the compartment. Literally a minute and the station outside the window began to float away. The brain was no longer capable of formulating swear words to the taxi service.
This is how our New Year's trip to Adygea.

How to get to Adygea and where to live

On this trip, we were again horseless and surrendered to the mercy of Russian Railways. To be honest, in Adygea, in a good way, it is very convenient to drive your own car. In this case, you will find almost unlimited opportunities for exploring local attractions. If in Sochi we did not feel the absence of a car due to the well-developed infrastructure, then in Adygea this is a complete sadness. Therefore, taxi drivers help us.

As a place of residence village of Kamennomostsky fits perfectly. Many beauties can be easily reached on foot, and most of the tourist routes start from here. But the train goes to Krasnodar, so you need to think about the transfer in advance. You can negotiate with taxi drivers or go with transfers to Maykop, and from there to Kamennomostsky. Thanks to our friend from Krasnodar, we "teleported" very comfortably in both directions.

There are no problems with housing in the village. Here you can find something for every taste and budget, from luxury hotels to authentic huts of local residents. We stayed in a guest house 10 minutes walk from the Khadzhokh gorge.

In our housing there were certain disadvantages of a domestic nature, but the undeniable advantage was a very good location and friendly hosts.

The main attractions of Adygea in winter

1. Khadzhokh gorge

On the outskirts of the village of Kamennomostsky is one of the most popular attractions of Adygea - Khadzhokhskaya gorge.

To date, this section of the Belaya River Gorge has become an equipped route. Entrance fee is 300 rubles for adults and 150 rubles for children. According to our subjective feelings, the price is not quite adequate. In addition, according to the old-timers who visited these places before these innovations, the canyon has clearly lost its natural charm.

Due to the fact that we lived literally a stone's throw from the gorge, her visit was postponed until later. As a result, we had a chance to walk in the rain, and the water at the bottom of the gorge lost its blue hue, turning into a dirty brown stream.

The route is quite long, crossing the bridges you can see the Khadzhokh gorge from all sides. Along the way, you will definitely meet local residents: the bear Timofey, who for some reason did not hibernate, but cheerfully waddled around the territory, she-wolves, fox, chickens, raccoon.

In places, the high stone walls were adorned with hanging icicles. The icy fringe gave elegance to the gorge.

Upon reaching the last observation deck, you will see a bizarre stone bridge and arches. Finally, having overcome all obstacles, Belaya breaks free at breakneck speed.

Near the gorge there is a small but very worthy cafe of the same name. They cook excellent kebabs and meat. There are not so hot with eateries in the area, so from time to time we had a bite to eat at Tesnin with pleasure.

2. Rufabgo Falls

The gorge of the Rufabgo River is unusually picturesque and very popular with travelers not only for its beautiful landscapes, but mainly for the fact that a considerable number of waterfalls can be found here. Each of them is good in its own way and not like the others. The names are so sonorous that bright images immediately appear involuntarily: Noise, Cup of Love, Rufabgo's Heart, Maiden's Braid, Cascading.
We were lucky enough to walk to the waterfalls in a twenty-degree frost along the hiking trail along the Belaya River. Everything inside trembled from the snowy fairy tale that surrounded us. I had to overcome steep ascents and descents, climb up, clinging to a ghostly support, find myself on the edge of an abyss, almost turn back, but not give up. And the reward was frozen icy waterfalls, inside which crystal water beat like an artery.

An amazing, unforgettable sight. About our adventures and how to get to the Rufabgo waterfalls, I will definitely tell you in detail in a separate post.

3. Lago-Naki Plateau

To come to Adygea at any time of the year and not visit Lago-Naki means not to see Adygea. This place is the center of gravity of the republic. Everyone strives here to see the endless expanses, majestic mountains and the most beautiful nature of this region.
In winter, Lago-Naki welcomes guests no less than in summer. Here you can enjoy stunning scenery from various viewing platforms.

Visit the equipped caves Azishskaya and Nezhnaya. As well as many "wild" smaller caves.

Fall into childhood and enjoy from the heart all possible winter entertainment from cheesecakes to snow bananas.

Leaving the soulless technique, transfer to a live horse and ride through the Adyghe expanses. And after all, drink hot tea with mountain herbs mixed with mountain honey.

4. Extreme parks

In the vicinity of Kamennomostsky, there are two parks with extreme entertainment: the Mishoko extreme park and the TETIS adventure rope park.

Pointer to "Mishoko" It was right next to our guest house. Therefore, you can easily get to them on foot, walking along an abandoned quarry. And God himself ordered us to experience exciting rides for ourselves, because. literally on New Year's Eve in the extreme park group, I won a flight over the gorge.
This day caused a fantastic storm of emotions in our mortal bodies. In addition to the extreme flight and an unforgettable via ferrata, we walked along the Mishoko gorge itself, and enjoyed the horseback ride. Of course, all these adventures require a separate story.

To rope park "TETIS" getting a little harder. They are located on the top of the Una-Koz ridge. There are several options to go up:

  • Walking along the tourist trail from the old bridge in the village of Dakhovskaya. With good weather, I think the walk will be quite a pleasure.
  • You can order a transfer on one of the SUVs of the park itself. You will be taken with the breeze along the mountain paths.
  • And we chose the last of the possible ones, climbed the only Savran cable car in the Republic of Adygea.

Ticket price for January 2016: adult - 500 rubles, children - 200 rubles.

Having risen on the cable car, you will immediately be met by a bunch of signs. Having decided on the direction, you can meet:
the site of a primitive man with picturesque holes in the rock and a well-equipped hearth.

Cave "Dakhovskaya" and "Dusty". And strictly following the signs, you will go straight to the TETIS park.

Having overcome about 1.5 kilometers from the park along the hiking trail, you can see another popular panoramic point - the Devil's Finger rock.
And we returned to the signs and tried our luck in the Grotto of Desires, entrusting our most cherished vaults to the stone vaults.

The descent from the cable car is very picturesque. All the way you will enjoy the panorama of the Dakhovskaya Valley and the road to Lago-Naki running away like a snake.

5. St. Michael's Athos Monastery

Just 14 kilometers from Kamennomostsky, in the village of Pobeda, at the foot of Mount Fiziabgo, there is a special place - God's destiny on earth.

St. Michael's Monastery is a must-visit on any day, but when this day is Christmas, a trip here will acquire a special blissful coloration.
It was this blissful, peaceful state that I experienced all the time while we were within the walls of the monastery, listening to Christmas stories, eating monastery pancakes, drinking fragrant herbal tea, deep underground, touching the miraculous cross, drinking healing water from the source and ringing the bells three times.

Coming out of the locker room, however, is not hot at all. Luckily, the thermometer already showed +6 °C that day. But what bliss to plunge into hot thirty-seven degree mineral water with a plus sign.
They write that water has a healing effect and is indicated for many diseases. Having plunged into warm waters with a specific smell, I felt an indescribable relaxation, every cell of the body was completely relaxed.

It's so nice that I didn't want to get out at all. From time to time, jets of water were turned on, standing under which one could feel all the delights of hydromassage.
But don't go swimming either. As they say, everything is good in moderation. As soon as you get out of the water, the effect of thermal springs will not keep you waiting, that is, the relaxation continues.

But this is not a complete list of what you can see in Adygea in winter. At the entrance to Kamennomostsky there is Museum "Garden of Stones". Interesting finds were brought there, including ancient ammonites. One of them lies on the road to the Hadzhokh dolmen.

Khadzhokhsky dolmen located near the highway in an orchard. These ancient structures are quite common in these parts. Mysterious megaliths still excite the minds of scientists. They are believed to be of a ritual nature. And here is the victim from visiting tourists.

There is also a beautiful suspension bridge. But our search was unsuccessful, instead we found the picturesque bank of the Belaya River.

Cossack stone, which you definitely will not pass by when going to Lago-Naki.

And wonderful people live here who sincerely love their native land with all their hearts. Local residents are happy to talk about the sights and beauties of Adygea, about unusual places and natural monuments of the republic.

This is how Adygea is: hospitable and surprisingly beautiful.

Adygea is a republic that is part of Russia. The Krasnodar Territory is located around the republic, the capital and main region is Maikop and the Maikop region on the territory of the Adyghe Republic, beautiful nature and a huge amount of forests, which occupy a little less than half of the entire area of the republic.

The population is basically Russian about 70%, in second place in terms of numbers are Circassians (Adygs).

The main feature of Adygea is its diverse nature, there are beautiful mountains, bewitching plains and fast rivers, plus bright green forests and even waterfalls.

Adygea, the sights of the republic, which are worthy of your attention, we will consider in this article.

  • One of the most popular attractions of Adygea is the Rufabgo waterfalls, which attract the attention of many tourists. This magnificent natural attraction is located in a gorge on one of the tributaries of the Belaya River. Nearby is the Kamennomostsky settlement, it is from this settlement that the tourist route begins along the natural attractions of Adygea.

  • The Khadzhokh gorge is a canyon almost half a kilometer long and up to 40 meters high in the highest places. The width of the canyon in different places varies from three to eight meters. For quite a long time, the Khadzhokh gorge has been an object equipped for visiting; at the beginning of the canyon there is a cafe and ticket offices. Entrance here is paid.

  • On another large river, on the territory of Adygea, the Pshikashkhi River, you can visit the Pshekhsky waterfall. In the warm season, the waterfall looks more like a long stream, but its appearance attracts tourists even in the driest years. The height of the cascades of the waterfall reaches 160 meters, the fall of water from such a height is simply mesmerizing.

  • Another unique natural monument in the republic is the valley of ammonites. Ammonites are ancient invertebrates that remained in large numbers in fossilized form on the banks of the Belaya River. The best idea for tourists would be to visit the stone museum near the valley, where you can see the best specimens of ammonites.

For those who love mountain peaks, there are a large number of mountains in Adygea. Fisht, Oshten, Lagonaki Plateau, Aboga, Tybga - all these are beautiful mountains, the height of some of them is more than three thousand meters. And of course, these mountains are famous for their gorges and caves, which have long become a separate reason for excursions.

Adygea is a republic that is filled with natural resources that every tourist from Russia should see.

Adygea is a popular tourist region generously endowed with mountains, rocks, gorges and gorges. And here is fresh air, a lot of greenery and clean water. That is, the bulk of the sights of the region refers to natural pearls. Local beauties are enough for more than one good vacation, although most of them are located quite compactly.

1. Pass "Devil's Gate"

The passage to the real mountain world is located between two rocky peaks of the beautiful Acheshbok. You need to climb to the passage along the path beaten by pastoralists, referred to by the locals simply as the "Devil's Gate". The rock complex got its name because of the specific shape of the mountains, reminiscent of the horns of a fairy-tale character. If there is no desire to conquer the verdant mountain slopes, you can look at them from afar. From the neighboring mountains it can be seen that the “gates” have very clear outlines and are bent into an arc.

2. Lake Psenodakh

The most unusual lake in Adygea can be compared with the smile of the Cheshire cat, it is similar in form and behavior. Yes, it can also disappear and reappear. The high-altitude disappearing reservoir is located on the Lago-Naki plateau, the length of the “smile” is only 150 meters, but swimming in it is almost impossible. The depth is only 80 centimeters, but there is one funnel on the edge, reaching three meters. How the lake manages to disappear from the plateau - no one can explain. It is known that it is fed by streams flowing down from a melting mountain glacier. The lake is surrounded by an almost alpine landscape of green meadows and rocky mountains. It's just not a fact that all tourists will be able to find the Adyghe "beautiful well" on the spot.

3. Rufabgo Creek

In this case, tourists are not attracted by the stream itself, which carries its waters just a couple of kilometers from the border of the village of Kamennomostsky. The main attraction is a cascade of sixteen waterfalls. You will have to pay for the opportunity to start your tour from a bridge thrown over the water and leading to an equipped trail along the five most popular waterfalls. The first six-meter waterfall is heard immediately, it was called “Noise”, and “Three Brothers” hid in front of it. For the sake of a free walk, you will have to go a little further, but on the way there will be an amazing beach, overlooking the canyon and other interesting things of the gorge.

4. Lago-Naki Plateau

This is a multifaceted attraction that allows you to visit different natural areas in one walk. The plateau is long and contains interesting vegetation, caves and glaciers. The center is picturesque alpine meadows enclosed in a ring of high rocky mountains. Lago-Naki is a great place for hiking, it is an attraction in itself, in addition, there are numerous natural pearls. On the ascent to the caves, the spring of alpine meadows is quickly replaced by the first signs of winter, nearby are millennial glaciers that feed amazingly beautiful mountain lakes.

5. Big Azish cave

A very popular sightseeing spot. Since the end of the eighties, it has been available to all tourists, but ordinary travelers are only allowed to go to the very beginning, allowing them to walk a little over two hundred meters. But even this is quite enough to appreciate the beauty of the halls, the elegance of the galleries and the size of the stalactites. The equipped path is equipped with handrails, the entire path is illuminated. The most beautiful part is the hall with limestone columns lined up in parallel. The path to one of the most beautiful caves in Adygea lies through a luxurious forest of beeches and firs.

6. Khadzhokh gorge

This is a canyon along which the Belaya River flows, or rather a narrow and long fault in which water seethes. Tourists who visited the gorge note that no photographs are able to betray the beauty of this place, the winter canyon looks especially fabulous. The swift stream has been making its way through the rocks for thousands of years, and now it squeezes between the stone walls, sometimes narrowing to a couple of meters. Along the gorge there are equipped and "wild" routes for vacationers. Extreme lovers are offered to raft through the gorge on a boat.

7. Guam Gorge

For the appearance of this green gorge on the map of Adygea, one must thank the Kurdzhips River, which has sharpened strong rocks for thousands of years. The water washed out the mountain range, creating a canyon that goes down 400 meters, providing itself with a bizarre channel. In difficult places, water breaks through and falls down in picturesque waterfalls that turn into an ice fairy tale with the onset of cold weather. In summer, the gorge is buried in the lush greenery of numerous trees, delighting tourists with coolness even in the midst of hot days, while in autumn the waters of the river are hidden under the gold crowns. You can explore the beauty of the gorge by walking along the walking route or taking a ride in a sightseeing trailer.

8. Cossack stone

Another major attraction, comfortably located in the Belaya Valley, not far from the village of Kamennomostsky. Moreover, the boulder “chosen” the place right in the middle of the road. Rather, the track was built taking into account the sights that had already fallen from the mountains, and now, like in a fairy tale, it lies at the crossroads of three roads. Its height is 27 meters, on the flat top there is an "observation deck". The Cossack stone was nicknamed after the local Cossacks managed to raise a horse onto the flat part of the boulder, and their chieftain, sitting on a horse, greeted visiting auditors.

9. Cave Through

Small, but interesting and accessible to tourists of all categories. You can find the cave four hundred meters from the Noise waterfall. You can go inside freely, it is light inside (there is a karst well in the roof), and the big giant, the namesake of the neighboring Rufabgo stream, now lives only in local fairy tales. You can enter either from the north or from the south, the path is not long, the length of the cave is only 25 meters. The small tunnel has excellent natural ventilation, so there is always fresh air here.

10. Ammonite Valley

A unique place in the Belaya Valley, undeservedly overlooked by tourists. True, in order to see this archaeological miracle, you need to come to the right place in the Khadzhokh gorge, it is there that the history of the planet is revealed to modern man. Working on its channel, the river, stubbornly dissolving the rocks, exposed a large area with nautilus shells that had lain in the rock for 65 million years. It is better to look at the wall with prehistoric shells through binoculars, the largest accumulation on both banks of the river is observed on the 33rd kilometer of the road leading from Maykop to Khadzhokh.
