How to make cookies with milk

First of all, mix sugar and butter. By the amount of sugar. From 1 tbsp. The cookies turn out slightly sweet. For my taste, this is perfect. But if you like sweeter baked goods, it is better to add another third of a glass.

Immediately add vanillin into the bowl. You can beat them with a mixer or just mash them with a fork - there is not much difference. The main thing is that the mass should become homogeneous. There will be no difficulties with the grinding process if the oil is soft.

Knead the mixture until smooth, sift the flour and baking powder into it and gradually mix them into the dough.

At first, the dough is kneaded quite easily with a whisk (spoon/fork). Then, when it becomes impossible to handle it with a whisk, knead it with your hands. You should end up with a very soft bun of dough that is easy to work with. It may stick a little to your hands, but you don’t need to add more flour, otherwise the finished cookies will come out hard as a mallet.

We hide the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Afterwards, take out the bun and spray it a little work surface and form cookies. Roll out the dough into a layer 5-10 ml thick (the thicker the layer, the softer the cookies will be). We give the cookies any shape. Grandmother always cut the layer into diamond shapes and baked them, placing them on a huge baking sheet, in a real oven. I have these round pieces, which I will bake in the oven.

Oil or line a baking tray with baking paper and place cookies on it at some distance from each other. If you do not sprinkle the finished cookies with powder, it is better to sprinkle the tops a little with sugar.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and load a baking tray with cookies into it for 15-20 minutes. During this time, the cookies should brown slightly. This is already enough, you can take it out. Let the cookies cool, sprinkle generously with powdered sugar and serve. Bon appetit!

A crumbly treat with vanilla aroma can be prepared for a family tea party or breakfast.

Dessert recipe:

  1. Mash the softened butter with a fork. Add granulated sugar and vanilla sugar to it.
  2. Pour milk into the mixture, and then beat the products with a mixer.
  3. Add the sifted flour and mix the ingredients again.
  4. Transfer the dough to piping bag, preheat the oven to 190 degrees and place baking parchment on a baking sheet.
  5. Pipe the dough onto the paper, giving the future cookies a round shape. The diameter of one piece should not exceed 3-4 cm. Place the lumps of dough at a distance of 5 cm from each other, as they will increase in size during cooking.
  6. Bake the treat for 25 minutes.

Baked goods can be served immediately after cooking. If desired, decorate with powdered sugar or melted chocolate.

From homemade milk As you know, you can cook a lot of things, you just have to use your imagination. For example, in the morning you can prepare milk porridge for children (and not only) - semolina, oatmeal, corn or millet. Also, good homemade fat milk makes excellent cottage cheese and yogurt. And, of course, milk produces excellent baked goods, especially yeast baked goods, which are much tastier and more tender than those made with water.

I remember many “dairy” recipes from childhood. That’s when I started learning to cook – I loved working with my mother in the kitchen. And when I learned to write, I immediately started a notebook in which I wrote down recipes. I was very proud of my notes and often showed it to my friends from school.

Of course, I rewrote my notebook several times, because the very first one was covered in a child’s handwriting. But when rewriting, my notebook was each time supplemented with new recipes that my mother shared with me.

Of course, today I remember most of the recipes from this notebook by heart, because I often use them. Including this recipe for cookies with milk, which my mother taught me to cook as a child. And I’ll tell you about it today.

I like this recipe because you don’t have to spend a lot of time and effort preparing it – it’s quite simple to prepare. You can even involve children in the cooking process - I’m sure they will enjoy fiddling with the dough and cutting out cookies.

  6. Then carefully transfer the pieces onto a greased baking sheet. I usually use a small amount of unscented sunflower oil to grease the pan. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the milk cookies until they are beautifully golden brown. We set the temperature at 160 degrees. Afterwards, allow the cookies to cool to a comfortable temperature. If you like sweeter cookies, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Or smear it with honey.
