Yuri Vasilievich Lepekhin(born September 23, s. Dergachi, Saratov region) - Soviet and Russian teacher, teacher of mathematics, MOU "Secondary School No. 78" of the city of Volgograd.

Biography

Methodology

In his work, Lepekhin uses the method he improved by V. F. Shatalov, an innovative teacher from Donetsk, a people's teacher of the USSR. The method of Yu. V. Lepekhin is, first of all, a concise manner of presenting and teaching the material, as well as an informal understanding of the essence of the subject, interest in innovation and faith in the student. Yu. V. Lepekhin's graphic notes are distinguished by different colors that selectively affect the perception of students and the lapidary style of presentation. According to Yu. V. Lepekhin, "the value of mathematics is that it provides a unique opportunity to cultivate ingenuity, quick wit, resourcefulness, perseverance in the search for an original solution, that it awakens thought and calls for the accuracy and validity of reasoning" .

An excerpt characterizing Lepekhin, Yuri Vasilyevich

No matter how hard it was for Sonya, she kept her eyes on her friend.
On the eve of the day on which the count was supposed to return, Sonya noticed that Natasha had been sitting all morning at the living room window, as if waiting for something and that she had made some kind of sign to the passing military man, whom Sonya mistook for Anatole.
Sonya began to observe her friend even more attentively and noticed that Natasha was in a strange and unnatural state all the time of dinner and evening (she answered inappropriately to questions put to her, began and did not finish phrases, laughed at everything).
After tea, Sonya saw a timid maid waiting for her at Natasha's door. She let it through, and, eavesdropping at the door, learned that the letter had again been handed over. And suddenly it became clear to Sonya that Natasha had some kind of terrible plan for this evening. Sonya knocked on her door. Natasha didn't let her in.
“She will run away with him! Sonya thought. She is capable of anything. To-day there was something particularly pathetic and resolute in her face. She burst into tears, saying goodbye to her uncle, Sonya recalled. Yes, that's right, she runs with him - but what should I do? thought Sonya, now recalling those signs that clearly proved why Natasha had some kind of terrible intention. "There is no count. What should I do, write to Kuragin, demanding an explanation from him? But who tells him to answer? Write to Pierre, as Prince Andrei asked in case of an accident? ... But maybe, in fact, she had already refused Bolkonsky (she sent a letter to Princess Marya yesterday). There are no uncles!” It seemed terrible to Sonya to tell Marya Dmitrievna, who believed so much in Natasha. But one way or another, Sonya thought, standing in a dark corridor: now or never the time has come to prove that I remember the good deeds of their family and love Nicolas. No, I won’t sleep for at least three nights, but I won’t leave this corridor and won’t let her in by force, and won’t let shame fall on their family, ”she thought.

Anatole recently moved to Dolokhov. The plan for the abduction of Rostova had already been thought out and prepared by Dolokhov for several days, and on the day when Sonya, having overheard Natasha at the door, decided to protect her, this plan was to be carried out. Natasha promised to go out to Kuragin on the back porch at ten o'clock in the evening. Kuragin was supposed to put her in a prepared troika and take her 60 miles from Moscow to the village of Kamenka, where a trimmed priest was prepared, who was supposed to marry them. In Kamenka, a set-up was ready, which was supposed to take them to the Varshavskaya road, and there they were supposed to ride abroad on postage.
Anatole had a passport, and a traveler's, and ten thousand money taken from his sister, and ten thousand borrowed through Dolokhov.
Two witnesses—Khvostikov, the former clerk whom Dolokhov and Makarin used to play games, a retired hussar, a good-natured and weak man who had boundless love for Kuragin—were sitting in the first room at tea.
In Dolokhov's large office, decorated from wall to ceiling with Persian carpets, bearskins and weapons, Dolokhov sat in a traveling beshmet and boots in front of an open bureau, on which lay bills and wads of money. Anatole, in his unbuttoned uniform, walked from the room where the witnesses were sitting, through the study to the back room, where his French footman and others were packing the last things. Dolokhov counted money and wrote it down.
“Well,” he said, “Khvostikov should be given two thousand.
- Well, let me, - said Anatole.
- Makarka (that's what they called Makarina), this one disinterestedly for you through fire and into water. Well, the scores are over, - said Dolokhov, showing him a note. - So?
“Yes, of course, that’s how it is,” said Anatole, apparently not listening to Dolokhov and with a smile that did not leave his face, looking ahead of himself.
Dolokhov slammed the bureau shut and turned to Anatole with a mocking smile.
- And you know what - drop it all: there is still time! - he said.
- Fool! Anatole said. - Stop talking nonsense. If you only knew... The devil knows what it is!
“Damn right,” said Dolokhov. - I'm talking to you. Is this a joke you're up to?
- Well, again, teasing again? Went to hell! Huh?... – Anatole said with a frown. “The right is not up to your stupid jokes. And he left the room.
Dolokhov smiled contemptuously and condescendingly when Anatole left.
“Wait a minute,” he said after Anatole, “I’m not joking, I’m talking business, come, come here.
Anatole again entered the room and, trying to concentrate his attention, looked at Dolokhov, obviously involuntarily submitting to him.
- You listen to me, I'm telling you the last time. What should I joke with you? Did I cross you? Who arranged everything for you, who found the priest, who took the passport, who got the money? All I.
- Well, thank you. Do you think I'm not grateful to you? Anatole sighed and hugged Dolokhov.
- I helped you, but still I have to tell you the truth: the matter is dangerous and, if you take it apart, stupid. Well, you'll take her away, okay. Will they leave it like that? It turns out that you are married. After all, you will be brought to criminal court ...
– Ah! stupidity, stupidity! - Anatole spoke again, grimacing. “Because I told you. BUT? - And Anatole, with that special predilection (which stupid people have) for the conclusion that they reach with their own mind, repeated the reasoning that he repeated a hundred times to Dolokhov. “After all, I explained to you, I decided: if this marriage is invalid,” he said, bending his finger, “then I do not answer; Well, if it's real, it doesn't matter: no one abroad will know this, right? And don't talk, don't talk, don't talk!
- Right, come on! You only bind yourself...
“Go to hell,” said Anatole, and, holding his hair, went out into another room and immediately returned and sat down with his feet on an armchair close to Dolokhov. “The devil knows what it is!” BUT? Look how it beats! - He took Dolokhov's hand and put it to his heart. - Ah! quel pied, mon cher, quel regard! Une deesse!! [O! What a leg, my friend, what a look! Goddess!!] Huh?
Dolokhov, smiling coldly and shining with his beautiful, insolent eyes, looked at him, apparently wanting to still have some fun with him.
- Well, the money will come out, then what?
- What then? BUT? - Anatole repeated with sincere bewilderment at the thought of the future. - What then? There I don’t know what… Well, what nonsense to say! He looked at his watch. - It's time!
Anatole went into the back room.
– Well, will you soon? Dig in here! he shouted at the servants.
Dolokhov took away the money and, shouting to a man to order food and drink for the road, entered the room where Khvostikov and Makarin were sitting.
Anatole was lying in the study, leaning on his arm, on the sofa, smiling thoughtfully and softly whispering something to himself with his beautiful mouth.
- Go eat something. Well, have a drink! Dolokhov shouted to him from another room.
- I do not want! - Anatole answered, still smiling.
- Go, Balaga has arrived.
Anatole got up and went into the dining room. Balaga was a well-known troika driver who had known Dolokhov and Anatole for six years and served them with his troikas. More than once, when Anatole's regiment was stationed in Tver, he took him away from Tver in the evening, delivered him to Moscow by dawn, and took him away the next day at night. More than once he took Dolokhov away from the chase, more than once he drove them around the city with gypsies and ladies, as Balaga called. More than once, with their work, he crushed the people and cabbies around Moscow, and his gentlemen, as he called them, always rescued him. He drove more than one horse under them. More than once he was beaten by them, more than once they made him drunk with champagne and Madeira, which he loved, and he knew more than one thing behind each of them, which Siberia would have long deserved for an ordinary person. In their carousing, they often called Balaga, forced him to drink and dance with the gypsies, and more than one thousand of their money passed through his hands. In their service, he risked both his life and his skin twenty times a year, and in their work he overworked more horses than they overpaid him. But he loved them, he loved this crazy ride, at eighteen miles an hour, he loved to overturn a cab and crush a pedestrian in Moscow, and fly at full speed through Moscow streets. He loved to hear this wild cry of drunken voices behind him: “Let's go! gone!” while it was already impossible to go any faster; he liked to stretch painfully up the neck of the peasant, who, in any case, was neither dead nor alive, shunned him. "Real gentlemen!" he thought.

Yuri Vasilyevich has been teaching mathematics and computer science for more than 40 years, mainly at secondary school No. 78 in Volgograd. The teaching was based on the improved method of V. F. Shatalov, an innovative teacher from Donetsk, a people's teacher of the USSR. The basis of the method of Yu. V. Lepekhin is the concise manner of presenting and teaching the material. Yu. V. Lepekhin's graphic notes are characterized by different colors, which selectively affect the perception of students and the lapidary style of presentation. At the same time, Yu. V. Lepekhin's method is largely determined by his personal characteristics: not only formal knowledge of the subject, but also an understanding of its essence; faith in the student; the ability to empathize; interest in the new and the desire for innovation. According to Yu. V. Lepekhin, the value of mathematics is that it “provides a unique opportunity to cultivate ingenuity, ingenuity, resourcefulness, perseverance in the search for an original solution”, that it “awakens thought and calls for the accuracy and validity of reasoning”.

Yu. V. Lepekhin's graduates include dozens of winners of All-Union and All-Russian mathematical Olympiads and competitions.

Awards and titles

The title of People's Teacher was awarded by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 531 dated May 11, 2009. In 2010 he received a presidential grant as one of the best teachers in Russia. Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.

Nearly half a century - that's how much Yuri Vasilievich Lepekhin gave to Russian education. For 48 years of them, the mathematician Lepekhin "served" at school No. 78 of the Krasnooktyabrsky district.

Lepekhin phenomenon

“He is our pride, our symbol,” Galina Yegorkina, director of school No. 78, says about Yuri Lepekhin, “Yuri Vasilyevich is fanatically devoted to mathematics and knows how to infect his students with his love. It is thanks to him that we have such wonderful results at school. In its last release in 2013, four of the graduates received 100 points on the exam: two in mathematics and two more in computer science, the rest of the students scored 90 points or more in exams.

Yuri Vasilyevich himself is surprised at the high results. Despite the fact that his students regularly become winners and prize-winners of various competitions and olympiads, such a high level of their results at the Unified State Exam for Yuri Lepekhin was a real gift.

As soon as a teacher stops learning, he ceases to be a teacher, says Yuri Lepekhin. Photo: AiF / Nadezhda Kuzmina

“This is a colossal, huge work,” says Yuri Lepekhin about his profession, “it’s all just not given. But I really love my job and work with great interest. The teacher must know the subject perfectly. In Soviet times, there were plans for self-education, everyone wrote them. I don't know if it's worth formalizing this case, but the idea itself is really sound. A person must learn all the time. As soon as a teacher stops learning, he stops being a teacher. He can move forward only when he himself discovers something new. This forward movement is passed on to the students. The creative spirit of the teacher is very important for the construction of all lessons. You need to think all the time about how and by what methods to activate the mental activity of students, to force them to be discoverers, so that they create, think.

And Lepekhin succeeds in this. His students have no doubt that after studying with Yuri Vasilievich, they can do any university.

“I am very proud that I got into his class,” says ninth-grader Igor Nechiporov, “I have been studying with him since the fifth grade and have no regrets. Further, I have a lot of opportunities. After Yuri Vasilyevich teaches us, we can enter any university. I personally want to enter the Volga State University in Physics and Mathematics.

USE as training

Yuri Lepekhin manages to teach children in such a way that they are not at all afraid of exams.

“It must be difficult for a person,” Yuri Lepekhin is sure. It is hardship that builds character. After all, according to Yuri Vasilievich, only an empty cart rolls easily, and yesterday's schoolchildren have a difficult and not always calm life ahead, and the school should prepare for these difficulties. And one of the methods of such training, the teacher believes, is the exam.

“Of course, excitement is an invariable companion of any exam, and the more often a person takes exams, the more he works, the more confident he will be in passing all subsequent exams. A habit appears,” says the teacher.

And oddly enough, according to Yuri Lepekhin, there should be more such exams for a quality education. For example, a Volgograd mathematician supports the idea of introducing mandatory exams in subjects such as physics and chemistry. Without them, the honored teacher believes, it is simply impossible for our country to move forward. Especially in conditions when here and there Russia is threatened with all sorts of sanctions: “We just need to pull ourselves together and set up our production, restore agriculture and industry so that our departments do not need anything, including highly qualified specialists."

To captivate the child, to make him create and think - this is the main task of the teacher, - the teacher is sure. Photo: AiF / Nadezhda Kuzmina

First in the country

The merits of Yuri Vasilievich Lepekhin were repeatedly appreciated at the highest level, including by the head of state. So in 2009 he was awarded the title of "People's Teacher of Russia" and received an award from the then President Dmitry Medvedev. The Volgograd mathematician was also awarded three orders - the Order of Honor, the Order of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor; has the title of People's Teacher of Russia and, as one of the best teachers in the country, received a presidential grant. On May 1, 2014, on the eve of the 50th anniversary of his teaching career, Yuri Lepekhin, the first teacher in the country, was awarded the Star of the Hero of Labor for special services to the state and people.

“This meeting made an indelible impression on me,” Yuri Lepekhin talks about the presentation of awards in the Kremlin. - It was extremely exciting and very pleasant to receive such the highest award of our Motherland from the hands of the head of state Vladimir Putin. This meeting will remain in my soul and heart for the rest of my life, without a doubt.”

Yuri Lepekhin is not going to end his career, having received the Star of the Hero of Labor. This year, he took class leadership of the fifth graders, and will work at the school for at least another seven years.

Lepekhin Yury Vasilievich - teacher of the municipal educational institution "Secondary school No. 78" of the city of Volgograd.

Born on September 23, 1942 in the village of Dergachi (now - an urban-type settlement of the Dergachevsky district of the Saratov region) in an evacuation hospital, where his mother worked as a nurse. Even in the first grade of school, he became interested in mathematics. After graduating from high school, he entered the Saratov Pedagogical Institute, after graduating from which he served in the Soviet Army.

In 1964, having retired from the army to the reserve, he came to work at a school as a mathematics teacher. Since 1965 - a teacher of mathematics at the secondary school No. 78 in the city of Volgograd. His teaching experience in the education system is 50 years, and 49 of them he worked at school No. 78. He has the highest qualification category for the position of "teacher", for the last 15 years he has been working in classes with in-depth study of mathematics. He has high professional qualities, is distinguished by the broadest outlook, has a clear civic position based on the awareness of the importance of pedagogical work.

Working in mathematical classes, he achieves great success in teaching mathematics and computer science. Especially successful is the combination of mathematics and computer science. These two subjects mutually enrich each other, which gives a great effect in teaching. Separate topics that are studied in the lessons of algebra and geometry (“Divisibility of natural numbers”, “Geometric transformations”, “Combinatorics”, “Graph theory”) find their logical application in programs implemented in computer science lessons.

The successful study of informatics is greatly helped by the classes of students in the correspondence school of physics and technology at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. In each mathematical class, more than half of the students combine school lessons with lessons in correspondence school. At the same time, the emphasis is on the search for non-standard and original solutions to problems.

It has a high theoretical and methodological level, ensures the effectiveness of each lesson, rationally uses the richest arsenal of pedagogical tools: a differentiated and individual approach to learning, creating problem situations, an atmosphere of creative search, technical teaching aids, programmed manuals. Each of his lessons contributes to the formation of personality, provides in unity and interconnection the teaching, developing and educating functions of the lesson, forms positive motives for learning, the need to acquire knowledge.

In his work, he uses the method he improved by V. According to him, the value of mathematics is that it "provides a unique opportunity to cultivate ingenuity, ingenuity, resourcefulness, perseverance in the search for an original solution", that it "awakens thought and calls for the accuracy and validity of reasoning."

Among its graduates are dozens of winners of All-Union and All-Russian mathematical Olympiads and competitions. Only in 2013, 16 of its graduates immediately scored from 90 to 99 points in the unified state exam (USE) in mathematics and computer science, and 4 more students received the highest score of 100 points.

Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 20, 2014 for special labor services to the state and people Lepekhin Yuri Vasilievich was awarded the title of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the gold medal "Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation".
