2.2. Carrying out audits, inspections and identifying defects in high-rise structures.

2.3. Coating of various surfaces with anti-corrosion materials.

2.4. Production of painting works.

2.5. Restoration of unique architectural objects, temples, monuments, domes, steles, facades of buildings and structures.

2.6. Repair of cladding, architectural elements and decorations, balconies, cornices, storm drain roofs, etc. using lifting mechanisms: winches, hoists, guineas.

2.7. Sealing interpanel joints, replacing drainpipes, washing windows.

2.8. Clearing mountain slopes near roads and railways, removing or securing dangerous, loose stones in areas of industrial activity.

Job description of an industrial climber.

1. General requirements from

1.1. The method of industrial mountaineering (IA) is used in the production of steeplejack works, for access (approach) to the place of work on building structures, buildings, structures, or for performing the work itself, when it is impossible or impractical to use ladders, fences, scaffolding, scaffolding and other stationary means, as well as in combination with these means in cases where additional protection against falls from height is necessary. The PA method uses mountaineering equipment and mountaineering methods of belaying.

1.2. Workers performing steeplejack work using the PA method must, in addition to the requirements of this instruction, comply with the safety requirements set out in the labor protection instructions for specific types of work performed (professions, positions).

1.3. Persons at least 18 years of age who have been trained in safe methods and techniques of work, have passed a test of knowledge of labor protection requirements for this type of work and have certificates of the established form, have undergone a medical examination and recognized as fit, having at least 1 year of experience in steeplejack work carried out using the PA method and a tariff category for the work performed (profession) of at least third. Workers admitted to steeplejack work for the first time must work for one year under the direct supervision of experienced workers appointed by order of the organization.

1.4. Climbing work carried out using the PA method, regardless of the type of work performed (profession), is carried out only with a permit, which specifies all the necessary safety measures.

1.5. Climbing work using the PA method is not carried out (and is stopped if it was started earlier) under the following unfavorable weather conditions:

Insufficient visibility within the work area;

Intense precipitation;

During a thunderstorm and when a thunderstorm front approaches;

At a wind speed of 15 m/s or more.

The temperature range in which steeplejack work is allowed is established by the management of the enterprise, taking into account local climatic conditions and the nature of the work performed.

1.6. The performance of steeplejack work using the PA method is allowed by a team (link) of at least 2 people. All members of the team (link) performing work together must be within visual and voice communication, and otherwise, have radio communications.

1.7. All workers must know the rules of providing first aid to the injured, have an individual dressing package and a team first aid kit - directly at the work site.
